He was born into a Dogra Rajput family in Jammu, ye Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji (Sikh Emperor) ke army me the, Jab Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji ne Gulab Singh Ji ki exceptional military skills and bravery dekhi toh unhe Raja of Jammu bana diya 1822 me.
Phir Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji, Zorawar Singh Ji ne milke kafi territory expand ki Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan region bhi apne under kiya.
Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji ka kingdom khtm hone ke baad, Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji First Maharaja bane Princely state ke angrezo ke Rehte rehte hi....angrez kuch nhi khete the kisi bhi dogra ruler ko kabhi naa hi interfere karte the politics me yaha ki.... angrez jaante the Dogra Dynasty ke log warriors hai sab ke sab and inse panga easy nhi hai kyunki Himalaya region me rule karna hai usse banaye rakhna angrezo ke bss ki baat nhi thi kabhi bhi... Angrez, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji ke hote hue bhi kuch nhi kar paaye the uske baad thoda beech me Anglo Sikh wars hui lekin uske baad bhi Gulab Singh ke hote hue unhone interfere nhi kiya zada idhar jesa angrez baaki states me karte the vesa kabhi nhi....aaj ke India me ginke 3-4 states esi hai jaha angrez interfere nhi karte the unme se ek J&K bhi tha.....aaj muslim population, terrorism ke name se badnam ye State kabhi bhi kisi muslim ruler ke under nahi raha hai...ye state hamesha se Dogra, Sikh, Rajput rulers ke under raha hai.
Dogra vhi dynasty hai jisne kiye wars ladi hai ladakh, Baltistan, Dogra Tibetan war, Sikh war, Yasin War....and also Dogra vhi hai jisne modern world wars bhi ladi hai....world wars me khauf tha dogras ka....Dogra regiment ne world war me bhi kafi important campaigns kiye.... jese Mesopotamia Campaign jisme unhone akele Baghdad capture karliya tha against mighty ottoman forces and kafi Dogra Europe, Africa, middle east jesi jagah par WW1 me lade or jeete bhi hai. Burma war, malaya war etc.
Angrez specially yaha ke Maharaja se Dogra troops maangne aate the and khete the ki we need them they are lethal warriors famous for blood bath.
Aaj ke time par media ke wajah se bhut misconception hai J&K ko lekar...bahar ke log aaj bhi Kashmir or Jammu ko ek hi smjte hai but reality opposite hai....Ye sab toh 1947 ke baad shuru hua hai faaltu chize...lekin aaj bhi hamra Jammu ko Duggardesh hi bola jata hai ( means Dogras ka Desh) bhut logo ko nhi pata hoga kyuki kabhi media ne ye side nhi batayi lekin Jammu ko City of temples bhi kaha jata hai...yaha par bhut saare temples and kafi prachin mandir bhi hai jinki kisiko khabhar tak nhi..... Kashmir kabhi Kaspapuri ke name se jaana jata tha Rishi Kashyap ki dharti hai ye....lekin aaj khair sabko pata hai kya hogya hai.
So ye thi brief history Of Dogras and J&K 😊.Sabki History Culture pata hona chaiye thoda thoda media ke bharose nhi reh skte.
