👩‍✈️ NSG launches first Mahila Commando Conversion Course

The National Security Guard (NSG) has launched its first-ever Mahila Commando Conversion Course (MCCC) at the NSG Training Academy, Manesar, Haryana.

🔹 Duration: 12 weeks
🔹 Participants: Women personnel from State Police Forces & CAPFs
🔹 Training includes:
• Physical conditioning 🏃‍♀️
• Weapons proficiency 🔫
• Marksmanship 🎯
• Tactical intervention 🛡️
• Hostage rescue
• Counter-terrorism operations

🎯 Aim: To enhance the operational capabilities of women personnel and create a stronger pool of women trained in specialised counter-terrorism operations.

•Declares a national emergency over foreign threats to the U.S. bulk-power system.

•Targets cyberattacks, sabotage, backdoors, remote access and supply-chain disruption.

•Allows restrictions on foreign grid equipment linked to security-risk entities.

•Covers transformers, generators, inverters, batteries, circuit breakers, PLCs, control systems, software/firmware, etc.
Risky existing equipment may be monitored, isolated, replaced or removed.
