Tumor effect on fascial nerve :

إذا كان primary tumor مثل shawannoma & hemangioma هنا إذا كان poor prognosis راح أشيل nerve واحط ابداله graft ……… لكن إذا كان good prognosis راح يكون العلاج conservative & follow up

وكذلك قد يكون سببه secondary يعني بال parotid gland tumor مثل squamous cells carcinoma & adenoid cyst ……افتح هذا 🧠 شويه باعوا قبل العملية راح افحص facial nerve إذا سليم فراح أحافظ عليه واذا لا صاير بي invasive راح أشيله 🥲

💞 المهم bell’s palsy هو عبارة عن facial nerve paralysis راح يضرب جهة كاملة من الوجه (يعني unilateral ) ويكون sudden onset without signs of central lesion or CPA,or ear defect ………ممكن يكون سبب family history او idiopathic فيعتقدون مجرد اعتقاد انه اسبابه :-

🚨ischemic neuropathy
🚨immunological

الحلو بي ممكن يطيب ثلثي الحالات بعد 3month ولكن إذا اتأخر 6month وما طاب فهنا مستحيل بعد يطيب زين شنو الشغلات الي سببت هذا bad prognosis :

💡complete onset
💡incomplete but late recovery
💡abscent stapedius reflex
💡dry eye ,post-auricular pain
