This is Sushant, ASO in Central Secretariat Service (CSS), currently posted in MNRE.

Since SSC CGL is approaching, these are my 12 rules to clear this exam where it's certainty is more compared to CSE.

1.Daily One Mock till 20 days prior to the exam. For the last 20 days, frequency could be 2-3 mocks per day. Platform: TestBook Lifetime subcription for SSC CGL (It's way cheaper & probably very close to actual questions).
2. Post-Mock Analysis - (I) Learn/ mug up the methodology used to solve particular problem; (II) Keep the list of topics where you're getting the questions wrong - there's fixed set of questions in CGL.
3. Identify the topics of Maths which you generally feel uncomfortable with and schedule one lecture of maths daily for difficult topics - they are bulky lectures. Devote proper time to formulae sheet.
4. There are three YT channels:
I. Abhinay Maths - Algebra
II. Gagan Patap - Geometry
III. Nitu Ma'am - English
(Depending on analysis of mocks i.e. Rule 2(II), your weakness, you may choose to watch and finish those respective topics).
5. Identify few topics in English where you are constantly going wrong after 3 mocks.
6. Watch Nitu Ma'am video for those topics. There's also Ananya Ma'am on Test book youtube for English lectures. Those are one hour videos each so 25 mins mein ho jata hai.
7. Attempt Order for questions can be: Reasoning (20 mins)- English (10 mins)- GS (5 mins) - Maths (25 mins). This was mine.
8. PYQs of last 3 years to be done - but for every slot i.e. 20-30 slots per year.
9. For GS, there are 2-3 PDFs of Adda 24-7 (Generally for Authors, Awards, Sports, etc). But you can go through Yellow Lucent Book on the side. Also make notes of GS points through mocks questions.
10. For GS, there's Abhinay Sir's YouTube channel which I referred, daily one video.
11. For reasoning, try increasing accuracy by solving more and more questions. You identify the type of questions. You identify trick for those questions. Done. Execute.
12. I must tell you, your attempt has to be 85+ in the SSC CGL. You may choose to skip few questions in GS.

Good thing about SSC is that it has fixed number of types of questions. Use of pen has to be minimised towards the end of prep, and should rely on mental calculation more.

The whole reason of doing mocks is increasing accuracy of those 85+ questions.
