PSLV-C58 XPoSat Mission Launch 🚀:
-ISRO launched the PSLV-C58 X-ray Polarimeter Satellite (XPoSat) mission on January 1, 2024.
-The PSLV successfully placed XPoSat into a 650 km orbit with a six-degree inclination, making India the second nation to send an observatory for studying celestial sources like black holes and neutron stars.
-XPoSat is the world's second X-ray polarimetry mission, dedicated to researching space-based polarization measurements of X-ray emissions from celestial sources.
-XPoSat carries two payloads: POLIX (Polarimeter Instrument in X-rays) developed by the Raman Research Institute and XSPECT (X-ray Spectroscopy and Timing) developed by the Space Astronomy Group of URSC, Bengaluru.

🛰 Aditya-L1, India's first solar mission is now in a halo orbit around the Lagrangian point (L1)
🛰 Halo Orbit Characteristics:
Aditya-L1's halo orbit is positioned around 1.5 million km from Earth along the sun-earth line. Its period is approximately 177.86 earth days, ensuring an uninterrupted view of the sun. This fuel-efficient orbit guarantees a mission lifetime of 5 years.
🔬 Scientific Payloads:
Aditya-L1 is equipped with 7 payloads designed for observing the photosphere, chromosphere & corona
🌌 Lagrangian Points Insight:
The Lagrangian points, denoted as L1, L2, L3, L4, & L5, are positions in space where the gravitational forces of two large bodies, such as a planet and the Sun, produce enhanced regions of attraction & repulsion.
