=An MP introduced a 'Private Memberโ€™s Bill' for legalising same-sex marriage.

1.It is nominated by Speaker
2.It consists of 15 members and the Deputy Speaker is its Chairman.
3.It performs the same function in relation to Private Membersโ€™ Bills and Resolutions as the Business Advisory Committee does in regard to Government Business.
4.Exclusive to Lok Sabha.

-They were discovered before giant panda(Despite its name, it is not closely related to the giant panda)

-The red panda is a small arboreal mammal (spends most of the time on tree) found in the forests of India, Nepal, Bhutan and the northern mountains of Myanmar and southern China.

-It thrives best at 2,200-4,800m, in mixed deciduous and conifer forests with dense understories of bamboo.

-In India, it is found in Sikkim, western Arunachal Pradesh, Darjeeling district of West Bengal and parts of Meghalaya.

-It is also the state animal of Sikkim.

-Listed as Endangered in the IUCN red list of Threatened Species and under Schedule I of the Indian Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972

Geographical range - warm, tropical, subtropical waters of Indian, pacific and Atlantic ocean

In India, mass nesting happens ONLY along the Odisha coast - Gahirmatha, Mouth of the devi River and Rushikulya

ONLY olive Ridley Turtle are known for their synchronized mass nesting called Arribada

Females may lay eggs upto 3 times in a nesting season

Dhole ๐Ÿ•

also known as Asian wild dog, Indian wild dog, whistling dog, red dog, and mountain wolf.

It play an important role as apex predators in forest ecosystems.

Karnataka, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh rank high in the conservation of the dhole in India. India has the highest number of dholes in the world, but India donโ€™t have targeted management plans for scientific monitoring of the species

Conservation Status: Besides the tiger, the dhole is the only large carnivore in India that is under the IUCNโ€™s โ€˜endangeredโ€™ category.
The species is protected under Schedule 2 of the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 and under Appendix 2 of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).

In India, the first conservation breeding centre for dhole was built at the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP) in 2014.
