(2) 'Young India', a monthly journal by Lala Lajpat Rai, when he was in exile in USA.
●'New India' by Annie Besant: She purchased 'Madras Standard' in 1914, and renamed it 'New India'

Committee on Papers Laid (Lok Sabha):
Recently, It summoned CAG officials to explain the “unreasonable delays” in submitting annual reports and audited accounts.
1.This Committee consists of 15 members nominated by the Speaker.
2.Its function is to examine all papers laid on the Table of the House by Ministers (other than those which fall within the purview of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation or any other Parliamentary Committee).
3.It also checks :
*If provisions are in compliance with the Constitution
*Whether both the Hindi and English versions of the paper have been laid on the Table
*Whether there has been any unreasonable delay in laying the paper
