Srinagar, Mar 1 (Buland Awaaz): Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Monday said that the results of 12th annual examination will take โ€œat least five days,โ€ setting to rest rumours in this regard on social media platforms.

73569 students including 58514 from Valley and 15055 from winter zones of Jammu had registered for class 12th exams this year.
โ€œThe results will take at least five days,โ€ Chairperson JKBOSE Veena Pandita told Awaaz

She advised the parents and students not to believe in rumours and fake news spread on social media about declaration of results. โ€œThe students will be informed officially about the announcement of results,โ€ she said.

The examination of class 12th students was held from second week of November last year in Valley as well in winter zones of Jammu division.

The BOSE last week declared result of the class 10th examinations which were also held during the same time. 75% of the students passed the examinations held amid covid-19 curbs and disturbances.
Amid rumors, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) on Wednesday said that it will declare the 12th class results on March-08.


BOSE officials told the news agencyโ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the results would be declared on March-08 at 5 Pm.


Earlier the term end examinations of 10th and 12th standard of Kashmir division and winter zones of Jammu division commenced from 9th and 10th November respectively.

โ–ช๏ธTalking to Greater Kashmir, Public Relations Officer (PRO) Showkat Usman said the results will be declared at 5pm on Monday (March 08).

โ–ช๏ธThe announcement from JKBOSE has ended the suspense about declaration of the class 12th result.

โ–ช๏ธEarlier, various fake posts were circulated on social media platforms about the declaration of class 12th results making students anxious._

โ–ช๏ธโ€œNow, the authorities have fixed the date for declaration of class 12th result,โ€ Usman said.

โ–ช๏ธThe class 12th exams were held in mid-November. As many as 58514 students had appeared in the exams in more than 626 examination centres set up JKBOSE for the students.
