๐ช๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฟ๐น๐ณ๐ฑ๐พ๐ฒ๐ฆ - Maghreb's revival of Cold War alliances
- By accepting Donald Trump's "deal," Rabat consolidates its alliance with the West, while Algiers has already strengthened ties with Russia and China
The war in Syria had already brought Algeria closer to its former Russian and Syrian allies. The alliances of the Cold War had now replayed. In the case of Morocco and the zionist entity, this is playing out on the western side. Morocco is intensifying its relations with so-called "Western" forces, if one speaks in terms of the legacy of the Cold War. And just as Algeria has moved closer to the Russians and Chinese, Morocco is sort of repositioning itself in the wake of the United States and its closest allies, such as ๐ซ๐ทFrance and the ๐ฎ๐ฑzionist entity.
The nationalists, the most ideologists, are already in power in Algeria. From Algiers point of view, the "deal" will, of course, not improve relations with Morocco, but these were already abysmal. Nor is it going to fix relations with Western countries, but the ties with these were not good either. Nor with the ๐ฆ๐ช๐ธ๐ฆ๐ง๐ญ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ถ๐ฆGulf monarchies. It drives nails there they were already well planted.
What is much more important to Algerians is what will happen in ๐ฑ๐พLibya. Itโs more uncertain, itโs also newer. This interests the Algerians much more, because it is particularly about the stability of ๐น๐ณTunisia. Of course, what could turn the tides would be, and it's just a matter of time, for the Moroccan occupier to decide to fully occupy the ๐ช๐ญWestern Sahara and thus, annexing the ๐ช๐ญliberated territories. There, it will likely be considered a casus belli for the Algerians.
This is just a matter of time before we have to live a new Sand War, which will for sure, be more brutal and destructive than the previous one, because of the major advance of Algeria in the arms race against Morocco.
