ASTU Sports Delegation Conducts Voluntary Community Service
During the Inter-University Students’ Sports Festival hosted by Jimma University, the Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) Sports Delegation carried out a voluntary community service by supporting Jimma University cafeteria service staff.
The Sports Delegation Coordinator, Dr. Jima Assefa, stated that this initiative reflects students’ ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community service. He added that such activities promote unity, compassion, and mutual respect among universities.
ASTU reaffirmed that its volunteer team will continue strengthening similar community service initiatives in the future, demonstrating that sports go beyond competition to serve society.
