Many time people, so much like us, grow up to a misconcepted belief that one day a person will come and will love you for who you are and will always be. But it's a great play, almost a trap. A half spoken truth perhaps.
It's not that I find it wrong on context but it is misleading.
Love is understanding, staying, caring about the person, without the scheme of them loving us back, equal and fair.
And we all think we are good enough to think about exceptional concepts but we aren't. The understanding comes after one comes to know that one being inside you. Maybe it's a war forged in vain cause you'd never know anything completely. But yet you try. And you learn. That it's okay to get rejected, the hardest rejection is the one you never heard just seen. It's lives inside of us. The fear of fearing to be a failure. You learn to let go. Of everything and everyone and everyplace you'd think you'll always behold but it's life and you can't see any of it anymore.
So let it go.
You learn confidence, you learn to be a bit shameless, a touch of selfish but selfish. How to hold your cards right.
And you learn to love.
Love yourself even more.
