Trans Day of Rage Reportback — Portland, Nov. 20

When the cops arrived, nobody was there, just the aftermath of our work. Not a single arrest was made. The nights action was a wonderful example of a good direct action. Everybody’s lips were sealed and it was spread in secrecy, nobody’s actions were policed, and most importantly we showed the cops a truly decentralized night of action, impossible to pinpoint a source or to effectively stop.

The Trickster Insurrection | Ill Will Editions

In the various cultures that depict it, the Trickster has a number of typical traits: a marked intelligence, madness, structural amorality, and the negation of the boundaries between good and evil [...] the practice of the Trickster is precisely to transform these boundaries into thresholds, to bring good and evil into indistinction, to mutually deactivate them [...] The state of the world remains structurally and intimately the same—what changes radically is the fact that the world is now exposed and, in its exposure—without any further removal and presupposition—one can finally play with it, profane it, return it to the use of human beings.

They Can't Respond to 1000 Simultaneous Events - Decentralized Strategy

[Forwarded from Dom]
Remember everybody: the police are well suited for centralized military assault. They have the man power to take on 1000 protestors, even more.

But they can't respond very effectively to 1000 simultaneous events. They can't function without centralized instructions. Because they need hierarchy to function. That's why we're better, with our lack of hierarchy.

Feds are even less capable of managing multiple events, their troop force spread across the country already will dilute their abilities. Portland proved that disciplined and coordinated activists in just the dozens can take on federal agents.

Everyone should be focused on building and cultivating their affinity group. Can be just 6 people, it can be more. Y'all can decide what kind of stuff you want to do, how you want to protest, resist, or cause some good trouble.

No leaders means diversity of tactics. No leaders means we give what we can, with our unique skills, to the effort of fighting Authoritarianism.
