– Emoji statuses in the chat list are often unclear. A single icon does not give enough context.
– Setting a status requires reaching the top of the screen, while duration options are not easy to discover.
– In an open chat, the status is easy to miss because attention stays on recent messages and the input field.

Voice Playback and Live Transcription (Android)

– It is not obvious that voice messages can be scrubbed directly on the waveform.
– Static transcripts are disconnected from playback. Users still have to match the text with the audio manually.
– While trimming a recorded voice message, it is unclear which words stay in the final audio and which parts are cut.
