Divide et impera

Sun Tzu said, β€œManaging a large force can be made like managing a small force by the use of dividing up the numbers."

Divide and conquer is a strategy that's as old as war and politics.  Look at the world around you and you'll find it almost everywhere you go.  It happens with families, friends, coworkers, and all the way out to religion and culture wars.

How you respond to this tactic will determine the outcome.  Resistance to division is the obvious solution, but it can only be achieved through strong unshakable leadership.

In the face of division, we need something to unite behind, something good and hopeful that everyone can believe in.  A divided culture needs a united religion, and a divided nation needs a united people.

There will always be deceivers sewing division and illusion amongst the ranks.  Bring them out into the light and lead your people.

"Wholesome:  Good for you, and likely to improve your life either physically, morally, or emotionally."

There has been a decades long culture war on wholesome things.  60 years ago, healthy tv shows that taught life lessons and good values were the norm.  Physical fitness and a healthy attitudes towards religion, life, and love were all part of regular society.  You can even measure the decline of testosterone with the decline of wholesome culture, and the rise of depression and despondency with the increase of morbid and unnatural culture.

In modernity, if something is good and beautiful, it is attacked and deemed evil by cultural Marxists.  Happy families with several children are demonized and called to be destroyed.  Religious and homeschooled children are deemed weird and not compatible with normal society.  Wholesome life must be promoted more than ever.

When you look out into the death and decay of modern art and architecture, we see a pattern of removing beauty from the world and replacing it with a depressing shell, a dead husk of a once prosperous people.  The cure for this starts in our homes and leaches out into society in the way that we live and interact with the world.   Using the past as our guide, we know that we are quite good at creating, and building beautiful things.

Like every living thing in this world, we are what we consume, from our basic nutrition, to the things we view and hear.  We must protect our children and show them the good and beautiful things, and shield them from the morbid and unnatural culture that's decaying all around.

Statistics in multiple studies show that if the Father is healthy and exercises regularly, the children will keep this lifestyle themselves into their adulthood.  Alternatively, fathers that are unhealthy will have children that continue down a path of self destruction.

If you are invested in the future, and you should be, you have a great responsibility ahead.  In a world that promotes anti-health, we are living outside the formless mediocrity that they want to keep us in.

Read the ancient tales of heroes past and think back to the hero prototype our ancestors looked up to.  We have the opertunity to carve ourselves into that likeness, and our children will strive to be strong like Dad.

Life experiences and raising 7 sons has really developed the patience I wish I'd worked on when I was younger.  How we respond to the world around us has a big influence on the people around us.  Are we frantic and doing everything last minute?  Or are we patiently waiting calm and prepared.  It's the difference between having a family that's depressed and unnatural, and a family that's calm and well adjusted.

Modern world solutions and their consequences... have created a lifestyle that's ultimately unsustainable going forward.  The path of least resistance the world is on track for is crashing, and current levels of living to be happy and same day delivery will wreak havoc on society when it's gone.  Patience breeds health, longevity, and preparedness.  It's more than just waiting for things to happen, it's how we respond to the things that are happening around us.  It adapts and overcomes the hardships that we face.

Be patient with your parents as they age, your spouse as she makes your home, and your children when they make mistakes.  A stoic, antifragile mindset will make you the pillar that bears all and continues to move forward no matter what the world does.

Tolerance is just another way of throwing your values away.  In human society the things that people tolerate are never good.  We tolerate unnatural lifestyles, criminal governments, and evil on a grand scale is allowed to permiate every aspect of our existence.  What are you tolerating?

The things you tolerate eventually creep into your own life.  Our parents generations laughing at sodomites in Hollywood paved the way for hormone blockers in children today.  Unchecked imigration as long as its legal has given us the wonders of diversity we see around us where the third world that doesn't share our values and culture are ready to vote us out in a rigged democracy.  Don't question it, your just not being tolerant enough right?

If you want your children to grow up in a healthy world, it's time to push your values. Our lands were once beautiful, productive, and healthy.  If you tolerate all the evil out there, you're just inviting it in.

Most of my work gets done when no one is looking.  I pride myself in doing things the right way and being honest with our customers.  The industry standard unfortunately is quite the opposite.  It's normal for me to find saftey equipment and fire suppression systems that haven't been touched in years and are inoperable despite having clean certificates from the previous year.  During these times I get to see a persons character and who they are when no one is around.

Who are you when you're alone?  Do you self reflect and strive for personal growth, or are you reckless and damaging to yourself and the world around you?

I believe that the things we do when no one is looking have the greatest impact on ourselves and the world around us.  If you wouldn't attach your business card to something that you've done, is it something you can be proud of?  The past few generations have missed the mark for leaving things better than they found them.   If we are to set things right, we must stop living for whatever feels good at the moment, and live for what things can be.

Some of the strongest and most healthy people I know happen to also be some of the most intelligent and philosophical.  Mike Mentzer once said β€œTheoretical knowledge is not the exclusive domain of ivory tower intellectuals, but is, in fact, a crucial necessity of man's proper survival. "

The foundation of something in design and engineering is one of the first things to be considered.  It's important for the foundation to be strong and suitable for what will be built later.  Similarly when trees are growing from seed, the roots develop long before anything emerges from the surface.  We too begin according to nature developing our bodily foundation before we can arise from the ground and run.  If laying the foundation for anything we endeavor to do in life is such an important step, then continuous learning and mastery of what we've set out to do is the cornerstone and the tap root of our lives.

β€œHaving been successful in my efforts to become both muscularly massive and very strong, I can assure you that the principle of intensity refers almost exclusively to the human will and the ability to command your muscles to contract against the only real resistanceβ€”your own mind.”

We were running out of room in the hive so we pulled 6 frames. If the hive gets too full, they will swarm and the hive will split. I expect to add a new box with a queen excluder next week so she has plenty of room for brood, and we can harvest 100 lbs of honey at the end of the season. I expect to fill a large pickle jar with what we just harvested.

I think it's safe to say that anyone reading this has had a protein shake from a big plastic container.  I'm probably one of the most lactose tolerant people out there, but protein powder shakes always ruined my stomach.  Store bought protein powders are known to contain toxic heavy metals, pesticides, and micro plastics that wreak havoc on our bodies.  When I first started lifting weights I fell into the same trap as most people, supplementing my diet with ultra processed powders and heat pressed vitamins because that's what the top athletes are doing when they pose for pictures so it must be legit...When I stopped and looked at how much money I was spending on vitamins, protein powder, pre workout, etc, I could no longer justify it, and I never really felt that great when I was taking all of those things.  It's been several years since I first started looking into the farce that is the supplement industry.  The majority of companies out there get their ingredients from the same places, slap their companies logos on it and promise the moon and stars.  The reality is that we can get much better results from eating a proper diet.

The best thing I did was learn about how easy it is to get what our body's needs from whole foods, and the more I deviate from the FDA guidelines the better I feel.  I start my mornings off with a 6 raw egg, 2 cups of Bulgarian yogurt shake.  It's around 60 grams of protein and costs less than 2 $ for me to make.

Different diets serve different needs.  It's always important to consider what your goals are long term and adjust your nutrition accordingly.  Vince Gironda had some of the coolest experiments out there and I highly recomend reading up on the information he left behind in both nutrition, and exercise.

Management of self is one of the top qualities I look for in a person.  Whenever I have new hires, my expectations are that they should be able to learn to take a step back and look for the areas that need the most improvement and start there.  Take care of the hardest tasks that could have the most problems, and then work down to the things can easily be completed.  I believe that by doing hard things first, we build a mindset that everything from there is easy.  More difficult challenges will come along and your old difficult tasks become the new easy.   A real problem solver puts priority on the most challenging and unpredictable obstacles because if we can have success on the hardest things in life, we're guaranteed victory everywhere else.

β€œHow long will you wait before you demand the best of yourself? … If you remain careless and lazy, making excuse after excuse, fixing one day after another when you will finally take yourself in hand, your lack of progress will go unnoticed, and in the end you will have lived and died unenlightened.  Finally decide that you are an adult who is going to devote the rest of your life to making progress.”

Modern man as a consumer will fade away and rot leaving nothing behind for the benefit of the future.  As much as technology has advanced to record all patterns of human interaction, likes, and dislikes, as a whole we are in the dark ages of recorded history.

Great men have always struggled with the idea of leaving a legacy and being remembered.  We find achievements carved into stone, stories and art that make the past come alive, how incredible were the feats of our ancestors!  The past indeed seems brighter and more alive than the dying society we live in today.  Film and literature once aimed to capture things past and present in a means of preserving it.  Currently, directors and writers seek to mock and destroy, to make the beautiful ugly, and to make the natural an abomination.  As the legacy of our ancestors is continually eroded away, we must fight to preserve and renew everything we can.

The most impactful thing that each of us can do is to teach our virtues and traditions to our children.  The goal of the world is for you to leave your children to be well behaved, uniformed tax paying consumers.  By breaking out of that mold we leave behind warriors that are well informed critical thinkers, ready to solve problems and lead men.  They will look back on the lessons from the past that we safeguarded and be honored to defend the legacy that we leave behind.
