Stonfiers! As we've mentioned, STON.fi closed an investment round, securing funding from major funds and prominent figures in the crypto industry. In our #STONchronicles series, we briefly introduce our investors — the companies and individuals making the most incredible DeFi ideas come to life. This post is about 1inch, whose co-founders, Sergej Kunz and Anton Bukov, joined STON.fi's investment round.

1inch was conceived as a decentralized exchange aggregator on the Ethereum network, collecting rates from different DeFi platforms to help find the best trading opportunities. Over time, the project began to support other blockchains, including popular ones like Polygon and BNB Chain. The platform expanded its range of products and services, creating an entire ecosystem. 1inch’s key products are:

Great news, Stonfiers! Signing transactions on STON.fi is now possible with Ledger hardware wallets. This means Ledger users will have access to all the features of the STON.fi DEX!

Ledger is a series of hardware wallets designed for signing blockchain transactions. Ledger supports over 5,500 tokens.

❓What is a hardware wallet?
It's a physical device for storing cryptographic keys, which allow you to sign transactions. Some users prefer hardware wallets for increased asset security.

❓How to use a hardware wallet?

1. Connect your hardware wallet to the software wallet you use (for example, Tonkeeper).
2. Connect your software wallet to STON.fi.

Now, any interaction with tokens will require transaction signatures (confirmation) from your hardware wallet.
