🗿 #STONchronicles: How We Integrate the Database into the Cross-chain DEX

In the previous article, we explained what steps we have already taken to create the cross-chain feature. Now we are developing an internal database for operations storing. So why did we choose this approach instead of using blockchain?

Financial performance. Sending messages between traders and market makers will be off-chain according to the Request For Quote (RFQ) protocol, which means that no fees will be required from blockchain. The assets rate is constantly changing, and effective trading requires up-to-date transaction information.

Operating speed. Trading will occur between different blockchains, and they usually have different block time (in TON Blockchain, for example, a new block appears every 5 seconds). An internal database will allow instant messaging regardless of the computing power of both blockchains.

Security. The database will contain only messages with requests for exchange — this is how the RFQ protocol works. Assets will be moved exclusively within blockchains, which guarantees the complete safety of our users’ funds.

Security, transaction speed and cost-effectiveness of trade — these are our top priorities in developing our unique cross-chain functionality ✨

⚡️ Stonfiers! We have updated the exchange interface to make interaction with DEX more secure and profitable.

Now by default you cannot make an exchange with price impact above 5%. You can customize the price impact limit in the settings of the ‘Swap’ tab. This will maximally protect the funds of our users and increase the financial efficiency of each operation.

At the request of our users, we added a search bar for liquidity pools, as well as the ability to sort them by TVL, trading volume and APY ✨

Two days ago, we held an AMA session with Tongochi’s founder and shared 10,000 $PET with each author of the three most interesting questions ✨

Here are some of the most interesting points from the interview:

🔈 Before Tongochi, Ilya was involved in creating a foreign language school and a stock market analytics service. Now his main goal is to create a unique GameFi product that stands out from others with constant development and attention to the community.

🔈 Tongochi attracts many new players. To make them even more interested, the team is preparing a number of significant gameplay updates: PvP tournaments, gang wars will be added. Users can also expect a training program for full immersion in the TON ecosystem.

🔈 Tongochi does not plan to release a separate mobile application for convenience and security reasons. According to Ilya, Telegram resources are ideal for such projects.

Take a pot of fresh soil, add a pound of ███████ and half a cup of cold water. Boil for half an hour. Add three ounces of ███████ and boil for one hour.
