Last week, the founder of StickerFace shared some interesting details about the project at an AMA-session hosted by the TON Diamonds NFT RUS channel. Here’s a short overview of the questions discussed.

1. How did you come up with the idea of StickerFace?
I started working on StickerFace back in 2015 when I was looking for ways to apply neural networks. The first version of the project was built in 48 hours at a hackathon. Now StickerFace has evolved, and it’s a long-term commitment to adapting the project for the Web3 era with the help of NFT technology on the TON blockchain.

2. How is your project different from other NFT avatar collections?
It’s true that there are plenty of NFT avatar collections or products that offer similar solutions. However, the focus of StickerFace is not just NFT avatars but also digital NFT items. The concept of dressing up characters in NFT wearables and accessories is new. In the future it’ll be possible to use the StickerFace avatars in crypto wallets, games and social networks.

3. When will StickerFace NFTs be minted?
Our team is working as fast as we can and hoping to mint the first part of the collection in the next two weeks.

4. Will you create animated stickers?
We’re thinking in the direction of creating 3D avatars in the future.

5. What’s the total number of NFT wearables and accessories in the collection?
There are 30 000 items in the StickerFace fashion collection which will be released over the next 5 years. Every summer and winter new items will be added.

The StickerFace loot box collection has been successfully minted on the testnet!

We are almost ready to go on the mainnet and start the sale. Every loot box and the wearables inside have been fine-tuned and we had a thorough preparation for the launch.

The first collection batch consists of 300 NFT loot boxes, which will open up after some time and show the unique NFT wearables and accessories for StickerFace avatars. Every first TON Diamonds holder will be able to get a free StickerFace loot box with an item inside.

The first sale of StickerFace NFTs is happening today at 3:00 p.m. UTC on the TON Diamonds marketplace.

TON Diamonds holders will be the first to buy NFT loot boxes of the StickerFace Wearables collection and to collect their gifts from the limited edition batch. Find out more details in the TON Diamonds Telegram channel.

Every diamond holder will get a special loot box for free with an accessory hidden inside. The items will be distributed randomly, unless the diamond owner buys an extra loot box, which allows to choose the wearable in the gift. To open up the box, download the StickerFace app — the new feature will become available in one of the upcoming updates.

There will be 150 NFTs at a price of 50 TON each. Diamonds owners will be able to purchase StickerFace NFTs starting 3:00 p.m. UTC today on the TON Diamonds marketplace.

When and how will you have a chance to open up the lootboxes?

This is one of the main questions you ask, and today we’d like to give you a detailed answer.

Each lootbox contains a wearable or an accessory for the avatar. Every item in the StickerFace Wearables collection is carefully hand drawn with attention to detail. We do not use neural networks to generate clothes or accessories, and the most special items in the collection are absolutely unique. The total number of StickerFace Wearables (30,000 NFT) will result from variations in color and print.

In the coming months you will be able to open up the lootboxes in the StickerFace app and see your item. Clothes and accessories will be distributed randomly. By the way, check out some of the pieces on the screenshot above 😎

The NFT-wearables from lootboxes can only be used to dress the StickerFace NFT avatars. Avatar minting will soon be possible right from the mobile app — we’ll notify you about the update in this channel.
