💠سوف نتحدث عن كل مايخص Like والفرق بينه وبين "As"

✴️ #الاستخدام
1⃣Like = similar to, the same as:
👈 "يشابه لـ & نفس الـ"
🔆What a beautiful house! It’s like a palace. (❌as a palace)
👈ماهذا البيت الجميل ! انه نفس القصر 🥺

🔆Be careful! The floor has been polished. It’s like walking on ice. (❌ as walking)
👈انتبه ! الارضية لمعت انها مثل المشي على الثلج

🔰It’s raining again. I hate weather like this. (❌as this)
👈انا تمطر مجددا انا اكره الجو نفس هذا

✴️في هذه الامثلة👆 like يعتبر حرف جر لذلك لابد بعده اسم مثل (like a palace), او بعده ضمير (like this) , او بعده فعل +ing مثل(like walking).لانه يعتبر اسم .

2⃣بعض احيان like معنااها ≈ مثال وقد تستخدم لنفس الشي such as:

🔆I enjoy water sports, like foot ball , scuba diving and water-skiing.
,OR ✅I enjoy water sports, such as surfing
👈انا استمتع بالرياضات مثل كرة القدم , التنفس تحت الماء , التزلج على الماء

3⃣وقد تكون
As & Like = in the same way as, in the same condition as.
👈 وقد يستخدم كلا من As & Like لنفسئ المعنئ ويكون المعنى (بنفس الطريقة & بنفس الحالة.)

✴️ #قاعدتها: بعدها يكون فاعل subject (S) +فعل verb (V):

🔆I didn’t move anything. I left everything as it was.
👈لم اغير اي شي انا تركت كل شي كما كان

🔆You should have done it as I showed you.
👈يجب عليك ان تنجزه كما اظهرت لك.

🔆I left everything like it was.
👈انا تركت كل شي كما كان.

🔰 #مقارنة as & like. :
🔰1⃣You should have done it as I showed you.
✅like I showed you.
👈يجب عليك ان تنجزه كما اظهرت لك

🔰but You should have done it like this.
(❌ as this)
👈لكن يجب عليك انجازه مثل هذا

4⃣غالبا Like لاتعبر عن التعبيرات "expressions" ماعدا (like I said):

🔆As I said yesterday, I’m sure we can solve the problem.
✅Like I said yesterday …
👈كما قلت امس انا متاكد انك تستطيع حل المشكلة

5⃣قد تكون As حرف جر (as + noun) لكن المعنى يختلف عن like :
👈 تقال (as + noun) : في حالة منصب لفترة طويلة
👈 تقال(Like + noun) :في حالة منصب لفترة قصيرة

🔰#مقارنة
🔰As a taxi driver, I spend most of my working life in a car.
(I am a taxi driver, it’s my job.)
👈كسائق تاكسي انا اقضي اغلب حياتي في السيارة

🔰Everyone in the family wants me to drive
them to places. I’m like a taxi driver.
(I’m not a taxi driver, but I’m like one.)
👈كل شخص في عائلتي يريدني ان اسوقهم للاماكن انا كانني سائق تاكسي

✴️Like & as If

💠نستخدم like or as if لقول "كيف يبدو /او يشعر شخص وشئ ما" :
#Ex
💠That house looks like it’s going to fall down
👈هذا المنزل يبدو أنه سوف يسقط
✅That house looks as if it’s going to fall down.
👈 هذا المنزل يبدو كما لو أنه سيسقط.

💠Amy sounded like she had a cold, didn’t she?
👈إيمي بدت وكأنها مصابة بنزلة برد, أليس كذلك?
✅Amy sounded as if she had a cold, didn’t she?
👈 إيمي بدت كما لو كانت مصابة بنزلة برد, أليس كذلك?

💠I don’t feel like I’ve had a holiday.
👈لا أشعر أنني قضيت عطلة
✅I don’t feel as if I’ve had a holiday.
. 👈 لا أشعر كما لو كان لدي عطلة.

✴️تستطيع ايضا القول as though بهذه الامثله :
🔆I don’t feel as though I’ve had a holiday.

🔰 #مقارنة

🔆You look tired. (look + adjective)
🔰You look like you haven’t slept.
🔰 You look as if you haven’t slept.
🔸#القاعدة (look like + ـas if +الفاعل+الفعل)

✴️نقول it looks like او it looks as if …
✴️ونقولit sounds like او it sounds as if …
#Ex
🔆Sarah is very late. It looks like she isn’t coming.
✅It looks as if she isn’t coming.
🔆It looked like it was going to rain, so we took an umbrella.
✅ It looked as if it was going to rain …
is very loud next door.
🔆The noise sounds like they’re having a party.
✅ It sounds as if they’re …

💠يمكن ايضا القول "as though":
🔆It sounds as though they’re having a party.
👈يبدو كما لو أنهم يقيمون حفلة.

✴️يمكن استخدام like / as if / as though مع الافعال الاخرئ للقول كيف ان شخص يعمل شي:

🔆He ran like he was running for his life.
👈ركض كما لو كان يركض من أجل حياته.

🔆After the interruption, the speaker went on talking as if nothing had happened.
👈بعد الانقطاع ، استمر المتحدث في الحديث وكأن شيئا لم يحدث.

🔆When I told them my plan, they looked at me as though I was mad.
👈عندما قلت لهم خطتي, نظروا في وجهي كما لو كنت مجنونا.

✴️بعد " as if " بعض اوقات نستخدم الفعل الماضي بعدها عندما نتكلم بالحاضر
#Ex :
🔆I don’t like him. He talks as if he knew everything.
👈أنا لا أحبه. يتحدث كما لو كان يعرف كل شيء.

🔸المعنئ ليس بالماضي لكن نستخدم الماضي (knew)
👈لان الفكره ليست حقيقة لانه هو لايعرف كل شي

✴️نستخدم الفعل الماضي بنفس الطريقة مع if & wish لكن لانستخدم Like بهذه الطريقة :

#Ex
🔆She’s always asking me to do things for her – as if I didn’t have enough to do already.
(I have enough to do already)
👈 إنها تطلب مني دائما أن أفعل أشياء لها - كما لو لم يكن لدي ما يكفي للقيام به بالفعل.
(لدي ما يكفي للقيام به بالفعل ☹️)

🔆Sami only 40. Why do you talk about him as if he was an old man?
(he isn’t an old man)
عندما تستخدم الفعل الماضي بهذه الطريقة انت تستطيع استخدام "Were" بدلا من "Was"
👈سامي عمره 40 لماذا تتحدث عنه كما لو كان رجل عجوز?
(إنه ليس رجلا عجوزا ☹️)

🔆Why do you talk about him as if he were an old man?
👈لماذا تتحدث عنه كما لو كان رجل عجوز?

🔆They treat me as if I were their own son.
✅ as if I was their own son. (I’m not their son)
👈 يعاملونني كما لو كنت ابنهم. (أنا لست ابنهما)
