The FOMC committee statement was released. The statement said :
We are committed to continuing this current fiscal policy with vigor until the tangible return of inflation and the labor market returns.

Powell commented the gross domestic product will fall to unprecedented historical levels this season, and national incomes will fall sharply, some of which may even lose their housing. But the FED will do their best.
Low interest rates alone cannot save the economy. He said they would need to turn to physical financial policies and continue to do so until the last moment they confirm the return of prosperity.

While the US Treasury Secretary had said that the new Federal Reserve's support measures would be stopped soon, Powell said,
New financial policies are likely to be needed!
Powell also said theyare in no hurry to get out of the current measures and increase interest rates.

It is clear that the federal government must keep interest rates close to zero percent for a long time .
