U.S Dollar Analysis 🇺🇸

The Dollar is weaker against the EURO, AUD, NZD, JPY & CHF as markets continue to price in the expectation that the FED will cut interest rates to try and stimulate the U.S economy from a potential slowdown should the coronavirus affect global trade.

Note: If the Virus can be contained and the number of new cases an confirmed fatalities drop, market expectations for Fed rate cuts will ease and the dollar will strengthen!

However, if the virus continues to spread outside of China, we may see markets push up rate cut expectations and the dollar will weaken as a result.

We may not see as much weakness against the Aussie and New Zealand Dollar, as markets would also bet on rate cuts from these two countries respective central banks.

Market Wrap Up 📉

Markets end the week in the Red as global Stock and Commodity markets aggressively sell off as the number of new cases for the coronavirus outside of China continue to climb!

Markets are fearful of the virus outbreak becoming a worldwide epidemic that could hit global economic growth.

We must keep our eyes and ears firmly on the news over the weekend to monitor the amount of new cases reported inside and outside of China.

If we see a strong jump in confirmed deaths and new cases, we will see markets sell off again from next week Monday!

We want to look at selling the commodity currencies that are exposed to falling commodity prices.

Aussie Dollar - Sell

Russian Ruble - Sell
Norwegian Krone - Sell
Canadian Dollar - Sell

Also guys I am well aware this week was absolutely shocking markets were the craziest I have ever seen and the hardest to try and trade.
You only need to look at Gold dropping 600 pips yesterday.
The UK FTSE Index hit by the biggest one week fall since 2008.
The US30 Index also hit by continued falls for 7 days straight suffering the biggest weekly drop since the 2008 global financial crisis.
This type of movement has been causing havoc across the market mean trading has been extremely difficult.
