It’s been 50 days of siege on #Gaza imposed by the Israeli authorities.

Hunger is spreading and deepening, deliberate and manmade.

Gaza has become a land of desperation.

Two million people: a majority of women and children are undergoing collective punishment.

The wounded, sick and elderly are deprived of medical supplies and care.

Meanwhile, humanitarian organisations have assistance ready to get into Gaza. This includes nearly 3,000 UNRWA trucks of lifesaving aid.

Basic supplies meant for people in need are expiring.

Humanitarian aid is being used as a bargaining chip and a weapon of war.

The siege must be lifted, supplies must flow in, the hostages must be released, the ceasefire must resume.”

כפר שלם בסכנת גירוש!

ב-1967 סיפחה ישראל באופן בלתי חוקי לשטחה עשרות אלפי דונמים ובהם שטח הכפר ח'לת א-נועמאן, שנכלל בתחום השיפוט של עיריית ירושלים. תושבי הכפר לא ידעו ששטחו סופח וישראל לא הכירה בהם ולא הנפיקה להם תעודות של תושבי מזרח ירושלים. התושבים מוגדרים על ידי ישראל כ"שוהים בלתי חוקיים".

לאורך השנים סירבה העירייה להכין לכפר תוכנית מתאר או לאפשר בו בנייה כלשהי על אף שהעירייה החלה גובה תשלומים ארנונה מתושבי הכפר.

איום הגירוש הגיע לשיאו ב-26.1.25, אז הגיע לכפר פקח בנייה מלווה בשוטרי מג"ב, כדי לחלק "צווי הפסקת עבודה", שהם שלב מקדים לצווי הריסה, למסגד ולכל הבתים בכפר.

הניסיונות לדחוק את תושבי ח'לת א-נועמאן מכפרם נועדו לשמר את "המאזן הדמוגרפי" בעיר, כלומר - למנוע מהאוכלוסייה הפלסטינית בעיר לגדול ביחס לאוכלוסייה היהודית>>btselem.org/hebrew/video/202…

Hunger in #Gaza is spreading and deepening. The impact on children is particularly dramatic because they are more susceptible to dehydration, diarrhea, and disease.

Nearly 3,700 children were newly admitted for treatment for acute malnutrition in March.
