⛈ The panel session titled "Uzbekistan as a New Hub for International Business: Opportunities for Foreign Companies," held as part of the International Cooperation Initiatives Week, has commenced.

🗣 The Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, delivered a speech.

"In 2017, IT exports totaled just $0.6 million, but last year we witnessed impressive growth, reaching $344 million. More and more companies from around the world are entering Uzbekistan, and our country is gaining recognition for its outsourcing capabilities.

Thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, export-oriented companies now benefit from extended support until 2040. Additionally, new initiatives have been introduced to encourage international and export-oriented companies to establish their businesses in Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, a new presidential decree has launched the Digital Startups program, which will provide a strong foundation for the development of the startup and venture ecosystem in our country."

🗣 Serbiya Respublikasining sobiq Prezidenti, hozir esa “Unitel” direktorlar kengashi a’zosi va “Veon” kompaniyasi bosh direktori maslahatchisi Boris Tadic “O‘zbekiston mintaqaviy IT-Hub’ ga aylanmoqda” mavzusida so‘zga chiqdi.

Hozirgi kunda O‘zbekistonda siyosiy va texnologik rivojlanishni kuzatishimiz mumkin. Eng muhim soha raqamli va texnologik taraqqiyotdir.

Menimcha, O‘zbekiston o‘zining barcha imkoniyatlaridan foydalanishi zarur, chunki mamlakat juda ko‘plab muhim resurslarga ega.

O‘zbekistonga sarmoya kiritayotgan har qanday shaxs tinchlik va farovonlikka sarmoya kiritayotgan bo‘ladi.

Right now in Uzbekistan we can see political and technological improvements. Most important field is digital and technological improvements.

I think Uzbekistan have to use all its skills as the country has a lot of important things.

Whoever is investing in Uzbekistan is investing in peace and prosperity.

🗣 Latviya Respublikasining sobiq Prezidenti Raymond Veyonis “O‘zbekiston xalqaro biznes uchun yangi markaz: xorijiy kompaniyalari uchun imkoniyatlar” panel sessiyasida O‘zbekistonning IT-markaz sifatida rivojlanishi haqidagi o‘z fikrlarini bildirdi:

“Menimcha, 2040-yilgacha bo‘lgan soliq va bojxona tartib-qoidalari O‘zbekistonning eksport salohiyatini va jahon miqyosidagi umumiy raqobatbardoshligini oshiradi. Bundan tashqari, bu mamlakatning texnologik tizimini mustahkamlaydi va O‘zbekistonni chet el investorlari uchun jozibador mamlakatga aylantiradi.”

"I think the tax and custom regulations until 2040 will boost export potential and total competitiveness of Uzbekistan globally, second — it will strenght the tech ecosystem of the country, and Uzbekistan become attractive for foreign investors."

"When a company enters a new country, the first thing they need to determine is whom to talk to and what steps to take. This is where IT Park plays a crucial role — acting as a bridge, offering guidance, connecting businesses with the right partners, and providing a clear roadmap for navigating the local market.

What Uzbekistan is doing right now is building the right ecosystem."
