But under the surface, it’s not all bullish.
• Taiwan life insurers are getting crushed — they hold USTs but have TWD liabilities, and don’t hedge
• Stronger $TWD = serious P&L pain
• Foreign bond exposure is massive
• If tensions escalate, liquidity risk spreads beyond semis
