I wrote this article a while back in the hopes that this list would help to provide a framework for dealing with grief that alters our relationship with death in a way that puts honoring our needs and honoring our lost loved ones first.

Writing this was part of my soul searching process on how to connect in a healthy way with my grief.

I know that we are here to transmute the darkness we experience - pain into wisdom - so that we can help lead others toward the light, and I accept that this was an integral part of my own journey.

This post been making the rounds on Notes over again out of need - we all, as a human family, tend to deal with an amplification of grief renewed over holiday seasons.

I hope that everyone who reads this article might find some strategy within to help them process any pain they might be carrying and support their healing.

Please keep in mind that I am not multilingual - I merely found this particular topic to be fascinating because of the conceptual resonance with recent explorations and decided I wanted to do some linguistic spelunking that you will, hopefully, find beautiful, cathartic, and healing given the subject matter....
