The way it works:

There are two sides to a sanctioned argument you are allowed to have.

Each side of this argument contains politicized somewhat-truth-adjacent-sounding statements that are not the truth.

Neither side of this argument is the truth.

People choose which side to bolster similarly to how they choose which football team to root for.

The truth is 80 miles away from the argument, hang a left when you get near bumblefuck... you know... where the burnt down church used to be, and then keep driving until you feel like you're going to die.

It's five miles farther down from that.

I'd say you can't miss it, but you probably couldn't find it if it flew over to you, danced a jig on your face, splattered guano on your nose, laughed at you, and flew away whistling the theme from Gummi Bears.

The people in place are expendable to the people at the top - you spend your time tracking them and they only get thrown under the bus for new ones to sprout up in their places. It’s a total waste of time.
