Social algorithms are crafted to stoke arguments in support of driving more engagement by triggering a dopamine response.

When you engage with people simply because "someone you don't know is wrong on the internet," you are neither protecting your own peace, nor your own energy, and you are giving all of your energy to social and to trolls or people stuck in an addictive relationship with having arguments instead of keeping your energy for yourself - where it belongs.

What can you do to better utilize your energy for yourself rather than pissing it away on strangers who aren't going to change their minds anyway?

Wish them well, wish them healing, let it go, draw your energy back in, and make conscious choices about ways to make your own life better.
