At the end, he says that perhaps you shouldn't - not that this is any consolation when all most people do is read the headlines.
Perhaps you shouldn't be writing things like this that are intentionally positioned to raise questions that make people think this kind of behavior should be weighed out, pros and cons, to come up with a solution as if this would EVER be some kind of viable behavior, Damon Young.
