The word ‘NICE’ originally meant ‘foolish, ignorant, senseless’ from Latin meaning ‘not knowing.’ Over the past 700 years, the word has been satanicly inverted, changed from a negative meaning to a supposed ‘positive’ one of being pleasant.

People being nice and pleasant are easily controlled. They are not outspoken about injustice and through apathy they play their part in this continuing. Mass social engineering of passivity in the face of fear.

Words are powerful. Word spells are everywhere and the words you choose and use, whether consciously or not, shape your reality and your impact.

The pharmaceutical industry corrupts medical science and the medical literature through a number of tactics.

Conflicts of interest run high in the pharmaceutical and medical industry. Financial conflicts on committees producing clinical practice guidelines tend to produce assessments of evidence and recommendations that favor the companies and industries involved. In terms of medical practice, a recent review shows that payments to physicians influence prescribing and medicating their patients.

The issue of conflict of interest is important enough that the United States Institute of Medicine issued a report on it, overwhelmingly about how financial conflicts involving industry affect researchers’ and physicians’ judgment. Despite all of this evidence, a focus on conflict of interest hides how pharmaceutical companies influence published results and outcomes, hence what we are seeing today.

Funding is rarely just funding. Most pharmaceutical company-sponsored clinical trials are designed, organized, audited, analyzed, and written up by the companies and their hired subcontractors. This is all work that happens behind the scenes, concealed by the form of academic publication. Therefore, much of the corruption can happen through more substantive medical choices and through structures of influence and control,

Roughly 70–75% of the industry’s expenditures on clinical trials go to contract research organizations (CROs), rather than to independent researchers in the form of grants. CROs together have revenue estimated to be approximately US$50 billion in 2020, most of it coming from pharmaceutical industry clinical trials.

So next time someone says to "Trust the $cience", remember that the pharmaceutical industry funds and corrupts medical science and the medical literature to show the results they want.
