All the studies (at least that I’ve seen) claiming to show that eating a plant based diet produces better health outcomes use a traditional, junk-food ridden, industrially farmed meat diet as the control.
This is not a valid comparison.
OF COURSE eating fruits and vegetables is gonna produce better health outcomes when compared to the standard western diet.
What about comparing it to those who eat regenerative, grass fed/grass finished meat with organic fruits and vegetables?

In this video from Business Insider, we see avocado farmers in Mexico are banding together to protect themselves from cartels trying to push their way into the booming $2.4 billion Mexican Haas avocado business via protection rackets and extortion.
The farmers are spending more time protecting themselves than farming. They plead with the local government for help, but nothing has been done, and some farmers capitulate to the protection racket as the price of continuing to do business.
What is @BusinessInsider conveniently leaving out of this #news package?
Who is INCENTIVIZING and FUNDING the cartels to take over food production and supply chain?
Who is INCENTIVIZING and FUNDING violence in Mexican border towns?
