While Knightly who knows Martin very well thinks that Harriet is the one who is not suitable for Martin and reprove Emma and tell her that her love for this girl blinds her because Harriet is l natural daughter while Martin has a respectable famaily and either of the nature and the education he is higher than her and he tells Emma that Harriet is gonna be better off without you interfering with her life.

It’s said by Harriet to Emma while thay were discussing a condition of women if she stays unmarried in 19th century in England and she makes a comparison between Emma and Batse as they are both unmarried , Emma wasn’t satisfying about that comparison and says that there are no likeness between she and Bates except for being unmarried because Ms.Bates has no merits to be desirable as Emma who has fortune,beauty,clarity and what is not .
