๐Ÿ’ฌ Need Advice from Fellow Developers

Iโ€™ve recently started learning the MERN stack and Iโ€™d really appreciate your guidance.

- What are the best resources you recommend?
- YouTube channels or tutorials Websites or courses
- Any must-follow roadmap

Also, what should I focus on first, and what comes next? (Frontend โ†’ Backend โ†’ Full stack?)

๐Ÿ’ก A few more things Iโ€™d love your input on:

- What projects helped you improve the most?

- What mistakes should I avoid as a beginner?

- How did you practice consistently without getting stuck?

- When should I start building full-stack projects?
- Any tips to move from โ€œlearningโ€ to actually becoming confident?

Iโ€™d really appreciate your suggestions ๐Ÿ™ and drop them in the comments. It would help me a lot and others too.

๐Ÿš€ Built something fun recently: Chillno

A cozy but competitive UNO-style game with online multiplayer.

Still early and definitely not the final form, but itโ€™s playable and I wanted to share it with you guys:

๐ŸŽฎ Whatโ€™s inside:

โžก๏ธ Real-time rooms (2โ€“4 players)

โžก๏ธ Custom cards like RPS (Rock, Paper, Scissors) and Heads/Tails

โžก๏ธ UNO callouts + penalties (donโ€™t forget ๐Ÿ˜ˆ)

๐Ÿ›  Tech stack:

โžก๏ธ React + TypeScript + Vite

โžก๏ธ WebSockets (Node + ws)

โžก๏ธ Tailwind + Framer Motion

Big shoutout to good olโ€™ GPT for helping me move faster

You can play with others in public or private lobbies or just run it solo against the โ€œAIโ€:

If you try it out, Iโ€™d really appreciate feedback. Especially on gameplay, UI, or anything that feels off ๐Ÿ™

BookPulse
โ€ข bookpulse.lozi.me

@CodeAndCoffee1 made BookPulse, a social reading platform where people can read books together. You can create or join book clubs, follow a shared reading schedule, and discuss ideas with others as you move through the pages. You can also create a private club with just your friends or even read completely on your own.

This has one of the most unique book reading UI/UX I've seen in a while. It's really cozy and warm and pretty nice. Well done!
