Role of MSMEs in Indian Economy

In order to revive the Indian economy amid Covid-19 pandemic, the government has announced an economic package under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. The main thrust of the announcements has been the massive ₹3-lakh crore collateral-free assistance or sovereign credit guarantee to the Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Like other sectors of the Indian economy, MSMEs have been hit badly due to lockdown imposed by the government to tackle Covid-19 pandemic. However, even before the current crisis, MSMEs growth has been marred by several challenges.

In such a situation, providing merely a stimulus package may not be effective, until adequate reforms are carried out to solve its pressing problems and to utilize its potential.

Significance of MSMEs
1.The significance of the MSMEs sector can be noted from the fact that it is the second-largest employment provider, after agriculture in India.
2. In India, at present, there are nearly 56 million such enterprises in various industries, employing close to 124 million people.
- Of these, nearly 14% are women-led enterprises, and close to 60% are based in rural areas.
3. In all, the MSME sector accounts for 8% of India’s GDP and 45% of merchandise exports.
4. Due to this, the MSME sector is called the growth engine of the nation.

REVIEW BY ex psychologist (AFSB VARANASI , DEHRADUN)

See in the picture you are seeing only one army person so naturally he will be the central figure of your story and rightly so you have made him. Now he saw two suspicious people.... and he took permission from CO... this is slightly haphazardly placed.... you should have initially followed them... noted there location where they are hiding.... inform CO on walkie talkie ; take permission; plan strategy with other members of your patrol party; challenge them and catch them alive so as to retrieve important information from them....

Nuclear Doctrine of India:

--India tested its first Nuclear Weapons on 18th May 1974 which has been described by our former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi as ‘Peaceful Nuclear Explosion’, followed by second Nuclear test on 11th May 1998 in Pokhran

Key points-
•Nuclear weapons would be used by India in the form of deterrence only.

•India will be using its nuclear weapons only against a nuclear weapons state, which uses nuclear weapons against India first.

•India will not use its nuclear weapons against a non- nuclear state unless it is fighting in alliance with a country having nuclear weapons.

•The nuclear doctrine also enables the state to resolve its conflicts by communicating with the enemy.

•How the state is going to react during the time of war, is also guided by the nuclear doctrine.
