SQLServer Just tweeted ********************************************** @ObsidianDev Hi Fergal! On either SQL Server on Linux or Windows, you can run a query SELECT * FROM sys.databases to get database info. Database files on SQL Server on Linux are stored in the /var/opt/mssql directory. We hope this is helpful! 😀
SQLServer Just tweeted ********************************************** @howthox Hi there! We'd love to help. In order to do so, can you let us know if you observe the missing feature on SSDT or SQL Server?
SQLServer Just tweeted ********************************************** @ObsidianDev In that case, we recommend mounting the /var/opt/mssql directory in its entirety so that it includes all of the master, model, user DB, etc. files and the secrets directory so those are all persisted on upgrade.
SQLServer Just tweeted ********************************************** @ObsidianDev The secrets folder is used for some features. If you aren’t using those features then it is fine to exclude it, but the best practice is to mount at /var/opt/mssql.
