$85 billion was spent on building a 300,000 official Afghanistan army. Which in the last two weeks has defected and just gone home.
It's all about ideology. No one has any loyalty to the Afghanistan government.
Everyone there thinks the Taliban will take over and no one has the will to fight them.
What a mess, and only last week Biden was saying that no diplomatic staff would be lifted off roofs!
That's exactly what is about to happen as 2,500 US troops surround the airport. Only US pilots will fly commercial planes in and out. All other nations are getting out.
