When the #Europe-an fascist armies start invading #Soviet Union on June 22, 1941, the #LAF rises up against the Soviet local authorities, seizes control of #Vilnius and #Kaunas. Before the arrival of the German forces, 🔪 the insurgents start slaughtering Jewish ✡ civilians.

'Major Plot' Foiled in Burkina Faso, Targeting Ibrahim Traoré

The failed coup attempt involved several military personnel and former members of the armed forces, Security Minister Mahamadou Sana announced on television.

Intelligence services intercepted communications between a Burkinabe soldier and armed group leaders, revealing the locations of Burkinabe troops and details of military operations, Sana said.

The action was initially planned for April 16 against the presidency of Burkina Faso, the minister said. It was to coincide with several attacks carried out by armed groups.

❗️ Marco Rubio has canceled his planned trip to London where the West must negotiate on Ukraine

The decision by the US Secretary of State follows statements by Volodymyr Zelensky, who, contrary to an American proposal, rejected the possibility of recognizing Crimea as part of Russia.
