Swipe through the visuals to discover.
❓Which one do you love?
❓Which one makes you go “...wait, was that supposed to be funny?”
Drop your answer — or your own example! — in the chat 👇
And don’t forget to join us this Friday at 16:00 CET to laugh, cringe, and maybe even tell your first English joke 👀

Friday = Speaking Club Day!
🎯 What would you put on your bucket list?
Let’s talk about:
- dreams that keep us going,
- things that scare us (in a good way),
- and why some plans stay on the list forever.
Would you rather swim with sharks or write a novel?
Skydive or read every book on your shelf?
Come for the conversation and bring your biggest (or weirdest) goal.

Tripadvisor, but tragic
This week’s speaking club took a wild turn: we dove into 1-star reviews of the world’s most popular travel spots and then made our own list of overrated destinations.
Turkey? Too hot for Natasha.
Dubai? Too shiny for Diana.
Milano? Too ugly for Cristina.
But the winner (or should we say... sinner) was:
🪦 Moscow’s Lenin Mausoleum — where you queue for hours to see a dead guy in a glass box. And yes, people pay for that.
We’re still recovering.

By the power of God, I now pronounce you… separated!
May 9th at 16:00 CET, we’re hosting a special session of our Speaking Club titled:
✨ "Divorcing your phone" ✨
We solemnly swear to question our vows to the screen:
- Do you promise to check me every 5 minutes?
- To scroll in sickness and in health?
- Till the battery do us part?
Maybe it’s time to break up.💔
All levels welcome. As always, we’re here to speak, laugh, and connect — not to be perfect.

This week’s theme: Building confidence
Have you ever felt completely confident in one moment—and utterly lost the next?
You’re definitely not alone!
This Friday, we’ll dive into the wonderfully human, slightly messy, yet surprisingly practical topic of confidence:
* What confidence really means (and what it doesn't!)
* Why it seems to vanish exactly when we need it most
We’ll swap stories, pick up handy expressions and explore science-backed tips.
👥 As always: Safe space, no grammar policing, just positive vibes and meaningful conversations.
🎯 Level: B1+ and above
📍 Where: Zoom
☕️ Bring a cuppa, your voice, and a story or two!

👀 Topic this Friday: “Why do we gossip?”
Did someone say tea?
Did someone bring gossip?☕
This Friday we’re digging into why gossip is such a universal habit—whether whispered in the office or dropped in a group chat.
🎙 You can listen to a BBC podcast here and ask yourself:
— Is gossip always bad?
— Can it actually build trust?
— When is it better to speak up or stay quiet?
As always, it’s 60 mins on Zoom → lots of gossiping, no awkward silences.

🧬 This Friday: Personality Tests – Science or Nonsense?
🗓 30 May 16:00 CET
Are you a cat person or a dog person?
An early bird or a night owl?
A Slytherin or just misunderstood?
This week we’re diving into the fascinating (and slightly suspicious) world of personality tests – from the Big Five to Buzzfeed quizzes.
✨ Do they actually tell us who we are? Or are we just choosing our favourite labels?
Come ready to reflect, connect, and possibly disagree about star sign descriptors.

🫣 This Friday: Sorry Not Sorry – The Art of Apologizing
🗓 When: Friday, 16:00 CET
Why do we say “sorry” so much? And what makes a good apology, anyway?
This week we’ll explore how to apologize (and how not to) – at work, in life, and across cultures.
💬 We'll practice language that sounds sincere (but not insecure), discuss awkward situations, and do a role-play or two that might hit too close to home.
🙈 Apologies for the dad jokes in advance. But not really.
