A lot of things are missing. There are more templates and elements in the Sketch. It's a beta, so more will be added

🎛 How to add your controls to the Сontrol Сenter. The concept is the same as with Widgets and Live Activity

You create a new StaticControlConfiguration. If you remember, Widgets have their own configurator, LA has its own configurator too. And they are all next to each other

And Intents are responsible for actions as for Live Activity. Even the protocols are the same

🐤 Controls are basically widgets that can be resized. They could have made it a Widget and everything would work

You're unlikely to do apps for 🍎 tvOS, but there's a problem

Before tvOS 18, Tru-Way was TVML. This is something like SwiftUI — a declarative concept, and the UI is drawn by the system. There were even templates screens!

But now TVML has been deprecated, and the new true-way is 👶 SwiftUI

The problem is that SUI is fine for iOS, but for tvOS it’s a nasty and buggy thing. At WWDC they said that everything was fixed, but I don’t believe it at all

🎛 Live Activity is now available for Live Channels. You subscribe a user to a channel, your server sends 1 notification, and LA will be updated for everyone

Is that cool? Yeah. Update by timeline? Still not available
