In May, Apple released a report about app rejections and removals. The full report is not yet available, but a few stuff here. All data related to 2023

✅ The review team consists of over 500 experts. This is the first time Apple has mentioned it. They also mention automated review

👨‍💻 Closed 4x fewer dev accounts, total 100k. A year ago, they cleaned up apps and accounts, removing a quarter of all applications at that time

🛑 250k apps were rejected due to 4.x (note: Design Spam). Same as year before

🛑 The chance of restoring an app after removal from the App Store is 1.7%. The chance of restoring a developer account is 2.7%

🐤 It seems that Apple has become stricter, but the number of account removal has decreased by 4 times
