When I was on a cruise, I met a Russian couple. They knew only one thing about American politics: cancel culture was out of control and Americans have lost sense of reality due to it. It's a favorite concept of bad actors used to cover a lot of bad behvior but starting a war may be the topper.
Putin is the logical conclusion of a lot of the Authortarian Right... The ones that can't help but cover for a violent tyrant with whataboutism and propaganda. The mask has dropped for a lot of people lately.
It's not about protecting liberty or freedom. It's about taking control of the government to punish the left, even if it means abandoning American values. We have to destroy Western Civilization to save it!
