Ethio Space Kids Club (ESKC), a kids incubation center under the Space Science and Geospatial Institute (SSGI) successfully conducted a three-day long Training of Trainers (ToT) for participants from 4 different STEM centers in Ethiopia.
--------------------------------------

The former ESSTI signed a MoU with STEM Power, Ethiopia to work together on strengthening STEM education and implement hands-on enrichment program in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines for students of Ethiopia.

Following the successful pilot ESKC summer camp of 2021, a direction was put forward to expand the scope of the training to students residing in the regional parts of the country. To that end, a total of 14 trainees from the regional STEM centers of Bahirdar University, Debreberhan University, Ambo University and Addis Ababa University were recruited to take the training.

The training was opened by Ato. Belachew from SSGI and Dr. Semenew from STEM Power. In the training, 8 modules, I.e., Astronomy, UAV, Satellite, Rocket, Space Geodesy, Remote Sensing, Space Application and How to Code modules were given, with a total of 20 training hours.
