Sometimes I'm like, "Wow, in 60 years, all of us here will be dead." Life is very short when you think about it. May God give us all long lives, twins! 👊

Introducing omafil - a file manager for Omarchy
Omarchy is a Hyprland desktop. Tiling, keyboard-first, terminal-centric, themed end to end. Then you press SUPER+SHIFT+F and get Nautilus, a GNOME file manager with GNOME's assumptions, sitting in the middle of a desktop built around none of them.
It works. It just doesn't belong.
It doesn't know your theme, terminal, editor, or window manager. So I built omafil, a file manager designed specifically for Omarchy.
Built for Omarchy
Theme-aware: follows
Terminal-aware: F4 opens your configured terminal through
Editor-aware: uses
Omarchy-integrated: available in the launcher and works as the
Hyprland-native: designed around tiling, with no pointless minimize or maximize buttons.
Keyboard-first: optional Vim navigation with
A real file manager
Undo operations: moves, copies, renames, and deletes, with the last 50 operations tracked.
Cancellable operations: byte-level progress without leaving half-written files behind.
Archive support:
* Tabs and split view
* Folder tree, pins, tags, and search filters
* Bulk rename with preview
* Permissions editing
* Drive mount, eject, and format
Install
Or grab the AppImage from releases.

Built it because I wanted it on my own machine. Shipping it because someone else is probably annoyed by the same thing.

I recently bought a PS Vita (1000 series) worth every penny. With this, you basically get a lot of old games from back in 2005(ps1 and psp). It’s basically ancient, but you can’t beat the aesthetic of this thing. It even has YouTube.

Introducing AAU Exams , a student-built examination archive for Addis Ababa University.
AAU Exams brings past midterms, finals, quizzes, and other academic materials into one searchable, organized platform. Students can find papers by course, department, instructor, or year, save them into personal study folders, build exam collections, and share complete revision packs with classmates through a single link.
🔗 https://aauexams.eyu.et
Important: AAU Exams is currently restricted to AAU students. You need a university email ending in @aau.edu.et to sign in and access the platform.
This is an MVP and it was built and shipped pretty quickly, so there’s definitely still a lot to improve. I’m open to comments, suggestions, improvements, and bug reports.
If you’re an AAU student, give it a try and let me know what’s broken, confusing, or missing @eyucore

In big 2026, if you're still using react-hook-form over TanStack Form, don't. Genuinely, TanStack Form is 2x better.
