its interesting to think about how we give names to our emotions but its still limiting. its nice to experience the entire spectrum of what that thing is, giving you millions more colors. i imagine myself as static line and all the activity happening around me is a perturbation of my field. we confuse high or low amplitude with bad or good but its not, its just amplitude showing you how far away from the baseline you are, happy or sad it doesn't indicate much about the reality happening, only how you feel about it. That's why something that can make a person really angry can make someone else laugh really hard. The degree these emotions shift from your baseline can change over time depending on how you metabolize and process your life experiences.

someone mentioned what if someone broke into your house, anger is a necessary emotion here in order to protect your family. but the action you take in this situation is a result of your alignment regardless of what emotion it brings, you can just defend your family, you don't need anger. however if u require an emotion in order to take action, then you're not able to do it without it. if you've been in the state of mind where you're completely navigated by emotions you'd know it stressful, its a high cortisol way to live and means youre in high need for corrections. there's no logical system of operation. but u have options, a lot of people get work done even when it doesn't feel good. one can simply learn to drive in emotions like weather conditions, the loudness of these emotions metaphorically speaking only indicate where you are and your preposed distance from your alignment and not an action/what you're getting out of it. if you feel something intensely its good to let the dust settle before you proceed and make the choice that you were already going to make anyway.

This is why the concept of β€œsacred rage” in justice and liberation movements throughout history and currently, is a fundamental distortion and misunderstanding and has only done harm to these people and everyone around them. "your worst sin is that you've destroyed and betrayed yourself for nothing."
