Making this today for a friend’s bday.. doubled the recipe and mashed raspberries and strawberries for the berry filing and added lemon juice and vanilla. Didn’t add the topping on top, instead fresh whipped cream ..

Good morning everyone!

I had a few of you reach out regarding the presentation tonight and thought I would answer the questions here.

1- No you don’t have to attend at the time of the webinar. A recording will be sent out to all who purchase a ticket.
2- Yes there is a ton of additional information and lots of extra details that have not been listed here. I think a lot of you will find it beneficial to have it in slides and easy to reference.
3- Yes I will provide ingredients including where to source products to make the toothpaste and toothpowder.
4- Yes I will provide information on Jaw exercises and how to support your jaw.

Looking forward to seeing all of you who are attending 🦋🌿 💀
Progression..

Working on your property, no matter the size is rewarding in so many ways. For me I think of growth emotionally, physically, and mentally. Of course the obvious is providing food and medicine to you, your family and community.

But more then that, it makes me reflect on things like edge, shapes, imperfections, and impact.

Edge— in permaculture the edge is a really important piece to consider.. it is where fertility is at its peak. It is where two ecosystems connect and collide to provide exchanges. This is where magic happens, where productivity and diversity are foundational. The soil is often richer, the plants and trees will be thriving and you can often witness multiple species of birds, wildlife, microbes, and insects.

So what really is the edge?

Think of the edge of a mountain to a meadow, a forest to the land next to it, water to the land, soil to grass, rocks to grass, pathway to forest, garden bed to pathway, fence to garden bed, rock wall to garden, and urban land to rural land. There are so many more, can you think of any?

If we continue to push the edges on our properties, no matter the size, we can create a multitude of benefits.

Can you see the edges of this newly developed garden bed? Can you see the other trees and plants that will be added and will be pushing the edges out further?

🌿🦋little install I finished if anyone is interested. This design was so fun to render and then now install. All the beds are framed with 100 year old logs from an old homestead and then rebar was used to hold them into place.

🪨All the raised beds are huglekultur with multiple layers and components to them. They are filled with Native plants and Native fruit trees, bushes, flowers and ground cover/creepers. They will have triangle shaped boxes for raised strawberries next year.

I grouped specific plants together on purpose to provide habitat for butterflies and bees .. if you didn’t know, they love particular plants and they like them crowded together in a particular fashion.

I look forward to seeing this unfold over the next couple of years and doing more on the property!
