CDC admits to botched COVID response, announces overhaul — critics say plan doesn't address 'unholy alliance' with Pharma
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Wednesday announced a "drastic" overhaul of the agency aimed at modernizing it and rescuing its reputation after widespread criticism of its COVID-19 response and, more recently, the monkeypox outbreak. "For 75 years, CDC and public health have been preparing for COVID-19, and in our big moment, our performance did not reliably meet expectations," CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said in an email to the agency's 11,000-person staff. Walensky said the overhaul will focus on making the agency more nimble and responsive to needs that arise in health emergencies. The CDC in a statement said it has never in its 75-year history "had to make decisions so quickly, based on limited and evolving science," and that the agency's traditional scientific and communication processes were "not adequate to effectively respond to a crisis the size and scope of the COVID-19 pandemic." According to CBS News, Walensky's proposed internal changes include: Expand...

US war on China/Russia targets new multipolar world, sabotages global economy: Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega
In a fiery speech denouncing US imperialism, Nicaragua's President Daniel Ortega analyzed the shifting balance of power in the world today. He explained: "A new order is being born in the world that buries imperialism, buries the colonialists, and opens the way to a democracy of nations, a multipolarism that is manifesting itself in various ways. North American imperialism is trying to maintain its hegemony at all costs, even at the risk of sinking its own economy." But in an attempt to halt this transition to a multipolar world, the United States is waging war on China and Russia, he said. The Nicaraguan revolutionary leader argued that "fascism left its roots and is embedded" in parts of the United States and Europe, and they "have the objective of trying to destroy the People's Republic of China" and the Russian Federation. The Western "ideologues of imperialism" are "worried," Ortega added. "They see the People's Republic of China providing benefits to the peoples" of Latin...

UC Berkeley student housing co-op bans white people from common areas
An off-campus co-op for students at the University of California, Berkeley named the 'Person of Color Theme House' has banned white guests from entering common areas of the house. A list of house rules revealed that occupants were told 'many POC moved here to be able to avoid white violence and presence, so respect their decision of avoidance if you bring white guests.' While the student house aims to have an 'inclusive' environment, the rules specifically state 'white guests are not allowed in common spaces,' according to the list, which was posted on Reddit.

A herd of elephants in the room bellowing for attention
In my previous piece, I speculated on whether there would come a tipping point where even the most incurious would begin to notice all those dead bodies under the proverbial carpet and wonder whether they might just have something to do with the Injections-Masquerading-as-Vaccines. Although the second part of that is still a long way off, it does seem that the number of excess deaths is indeed becoming too big and too unmistakable to ignore. This from the Daily Telegraph in a piece entitled, "Silent crisis of soaring excess deaths gripping Britain is only tip of the iceberg": "Britain is in the grip of a new silent health crisis. For 14 of the past 15 weeks, England and Wales have averaged around 1,000 extra deaths each week, none of which are due to Covid. If the current trajectory continues, the number of non-Covid excess deaths will soon outstrip deaths from the virus this year — and be even more deadly than the omicron wave. So what is going on? Carbon dioxide is not a 'well-mixed gas', can't cause global warming
One of the least challenged claims of global warming science is that carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is a "well-mixed gas." A new scientific analysis not only debunks this assertion but also shows that standard climatology calculations, applicable only to temperature changes of the minor gas, carbon dioxide were fraudulently applied to the entire atmosphere to inflate alleged global temperature rises. Acceptance of the "well-mixed gas" concept is a key requirement for those who choose to believe in the so-called greenhouse gas effect. A rising group of skeptic scientists have put the "well-mixed gas" hypothesis under the microscope and shown it contradicts not only satellite data by also measurements obtained in standard laboratory experiments. Canadian climate scientist, Dr Tim Ball is a veteran critic of the "junk science " of the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and no stranger to controversy. Russia's Gazprom to shut Europe's Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline for 3 days
Russian state gas company says the pipeline requires maintenance, deepening energy standoff with Europe. Russia's state-owned energy company Gazprom has said a key pipeline conveying natural gas to Europe will shut down for three days at the end of this month to undergo "routine maintenance." The unscheduled maintenance order on the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, which runs under the Baltic Sea to Germany, deepens an energy standoff between Moscow and Brussels which has already helped send inflation surging in the region and raised the risk of rationing and recession. In a statement posted online on Friday, Gazprom said that the only operational turbine at a key compressor station along the pipeline, which links Western Russia and Germany, will shut down for routine maintenance from August 31 to September 2.

Medieval monks were riddled with intestinal parasites but still lived longer than general population - study
Research examining traces of parasites in the remains of medieval Cambridge residents suggests that local friars were almost twice as likely as ordinary working townspeople to have intestinal worms - despite monasteries of the period having far more sanitary facilities. A new analysis of remains from medieval Cambridge shows that local Augustinian friars were almost twice as likely as the city's general population to be infected by intestinal parasites. This is despite most Augustinian monasteries of the period having latrine blocks and hand-washing facilities, unlike the houses of ordinary working people.

The BBC's "Unvaccinated": The pandemic dataset - part 3
In Part 1 we looked at the propaganda and manipulation techniques used throughout the BBC programme "Unvaccinated with Professor Hannah Fry." In Part 2 we considered the undisclosed conflicts of interest that apparently led some of the BBC's chosen "experts" to make some misleading statements. Yet perhaps the greatest single deception of all was in the BBC press release announcing the programme, which read: Professor Hannah Fry is a British Mathematician who worked on the data that helped bring the UK out of its first lockdown. This was incredibly disingenuous of the BBC. On the contrary, Prof. Fry worked on the data that helped put the UK into lockdown. She was a major contributor to what became known globally as the BBC Pandemic Dataset, which, as we shall see, was central to creating of the myth of a pandemic — central, that is, to creating a pseudopandemic.

Saskatchewan warns Trudeau's federal Nitrogen agents could be arrested for trespassing on farmer's property
According to Cockrill, Trudeau's government has been unlawfully sending federal employees onto Saskatchewan farmlands to test for nitrogen levels without the consent of landowners. In the letter, the Minister raised multiple complaints from Saskatchewan farmers that raised "serious concerns about Government of Canada employees, in clearly marked Government of Canada vehicles, trespassing on private lands." The farmers reporting these trespasses made clear that these government agents did not request permission to access the land and were not in any other manner given consent to access it.
