SOTT FOCUS: NewsReal: Monkeying Around - London's Burning - Co-Vaxx Fail - Ukraine Grain
Heatwaves shouldn't make this much news, not in the summertime. But with the media screaming 'apocalypse!' about the current hot spell in western Europe, they expose that this 'crisis' is being used to sell an agenda. Similarly with 'monkeypox'; yes it's interesting from the point of view of observing the consequences of aberrant sexual behaviors, but it's not a bloody pandemic! This week on NewsReal, Joe and Niall bust the bubble around these two non-starters, then discuss the latest statistics on Covid-19 infection rates and the 'holding pattern' Russian forces in Ukraine have settled into. The real achievements of the Putin-Khamenei meeting
The real story of last week's Tehran summit was the strategic advancement of a Russian-Iranian alliance. If we were to put the Turkish threats to invade Syria and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's aggressive maneuvers aside, and focus on the most important aspect of Tehran's trilateral summit - namely, the Russian-Iranian relations which advanced immeasurably in the private meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei - then last week's meeting in Iran was geopolitically more significant than acknowledged. We are potentially looking at a pivotal military, political, and economic alliance that could shift the balance of power in West and Central Asia, a matter of significant concern to Europe, and the US, in particular. Russia fills a vacuum It was no accident that the Russian president's second major foreign visit since his forces stormed Ukraine in February was to Tehran. His trip neatly coincided with remarks by US National Security...

China launches 2nd space station module that will host science experiments
China is set to add a new compartment to its space station following the launch of the Wentian module early on Sunday. Wentian was sent on its way to orbit atop a Long March 5B heavy-lift rocket that blasted off at 2:25 a.m. EDT (0625 GMT or 2:25 p.m Beijing time) on July 24 from the Wenchang spaceport on the southern island of Hainan. The 58.7-foot-long (17.9 meters) module will soon match the orbit of Tianhe, China's first space station module, which launched in April 2021. Wentian is expected to rendezvous and dock with a port attached to Tianhe later on Sunday. Wentian, which literally means "quest for the heavens," is the second of three modules planned for launch by China. A third, named Mengtian, is scheduled to launch in October and will complete the T-shaped Tiangong space station. Including a Shenzhou crew spacecraft and Tianzhou cargo vessel docked at the station, the completed Tiangong will be around 20% as massive as the International Space Station (ISS), which has a...

Superficial America
If we were to try to identify one point in US history where superficiality took root in America, it might well be a speech by an American salesman named Elmer Wheeler who in 1937 coined the now-famous maxim of "Don't sell the steak - sell the sizzle!". For those who don't know, the sizzle is the sound made by a steak when it is first tossed onto a hot barbeque. His idea had merit. Looking at a photo of a steak or listening to a radio commercial about steaks would be unlikely to generate much immediate purchasing response, but hearing that sound might well recall fond memories and persuade shoppers to head for the supermarket. His theory was that it isn't the simple product that generates a purchase but rather our emotional response to some element of that product. Of course, it was American Jews who more or less created marketing, and Bernays' advertising wizards were not slow to adapt Wheeler's advice to virtually every product in existence. But, as with most things American, they...

Space weather may be causing your train to be delayed
Fluctuations in space weather are disrupting train signals and causing significant delays. A project investigating the effect of solar storms on railway signals will be presented this week at the National Astronomy Meeting (NAM 2022) by Cameron Patterson, a PhD student at Lancaster University. The sun's tendency to affect technology on Earth, as well as in space, is known as space weather. In railways, electric currents caused to flow in the earth by solar activity can interfere with the normal operation of signals, turning green signals to red even when there is no train nearby. Patterson says: "Most of us have at one point heard the dreaded words: 'your train is delayed due to a signalling failure', and while we usually connect these faults to rain, snow and leaves on the line, you may not have considered that the Sun can also cause railway signals to malfunction."

Attorney Jonathan Turley points uut that Liz Cheney says her show trials have accumulated "confessions" (like communist regimes of the past)
Liz Cheney is obtaining "confessions" in her show trial in DC. This wicked woman is not after the truth which would show a total setup on Jan 6, she is after President Trump and anyone who supports him. Attorney and Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley wrote on Friday: J6 Committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney has been criticized by critics for participating in a one-sided series of hearings devoid of alternative or dissenting views. Some have called it a "show trial" with members reading off teleprompters in tightly scripted and controlled hearings. As if to fulfill that show trial portrayal, Cheney ended the hearing this week by calling for more officials to come forward and noting that Trump family members and former officials have now come forward with their own public "confessions." As with past hearings, the summation included a direct call by Cheney for voters to oppose Donald Trump in the coming election: "Can a President who is willing to make the choices Donald Trump made...

Judicial Watch reveals Biden administration is still sending billions to Afghanistan - and they refuse access to auditors to investigate
Judicial Watch revealed recently that the Biden Administration was still sending billions of US taxpayer dollars to Afghanistan. The Biden regime is also preventing an audit of their actions. It's been almost a year now since Joe Biden and the US Military surrendered to the Taliban terrorists. Joe Biden, General Milley and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are still in power. As part of the surrender, Joe Biden armed the Taliban with nearly $80 billion in US weapons and left thousands of Americans stranded in the country to fend for themselves.

Florida lawmaker seeks to ban Libs of TikTok from Shopify over term 'groomer'
A member of the Florida House of Representatives has asked a popular online store to prevent Libs of TikTok from selling merch on the platform. The reason? Libs of TikTok offered the term "groomer" as a promo code in the online shop, and "groomer," apparently and as of last week, is a slur against the LGBTQ community. Anna Eskamani, who represents Florida's House District 47, piled on to a demand to get popular Twitter account Libs of TikTok banned from selling merch in Shopify's online store over the term, which oddly enough has been linked to the LGBTQ community by members and supporters of that community itself.

Eleven children report serious injury from the vaccines versus zero serious cases of covid, official data from Iceland show
According to Icelandic online newspaper Fréttin, the Icelandic Medicines Agency has received 107 reports of side-effects of Covid vaccines in children, of which 11 are classified as serious. A serious adverse effect is defined as an effect of a drug that leads to death, a life-threatening condition, hospitalisation or prolongation of hospitalisation or that causes disability or birth defects in humans. Also, reports that are considered clinically important are classified as serious. The rate of reported versus experienced adverse effects, as well as the ratio of reported effects that actually are proven to be vaccine-induced, remain unclear, but according to estimates the reporting rate of adverse effects is quite low.

Democrats bring woman who is a witch and a furry as witness for abortion hearing
Democrats brought a woman who appears to be a member of a witch coven that engages in furry play as a key witness in a Dobbs hearing on Tuesday. The Oversight & Investigations subcommittee held a hearing on the impacts of the reversal of Roe v. Wade and "taking away the Constitutional right to an abortion." The subcommittee heard testimony from various individuals on why abortion is "absolutely necessary." Democrats were allowed four witnesses and one of their totally sane choices was Paulina Guerrero. When Paulina isn't working as a National Program Manager at an abortion clinic, she spends her free time making YouTube videos conducting witch spells and engaging in furry play. Comment: The videos have been scrubbed.

Daycare owner says she shot husband for molesting children at the center
A daycare owner from Baltimore is facing charges after she shot her husband in a D.C. hotel room on Thursday evening, alleging he molested several children at her business. According to DC Superior Court documents, Shanteari Weems, 50, reportedly shot her husband and then barricaded herself in a room at the Mandarin Oriental, igniting a police standoff that started around 7:40 p.m. and ended just after 8:30 p.m. While Baltimore County police are currently investigating Weems' claims, Twitter users are asking for Weems to be released from custody. Since the arrest of the daycare owner, 'FREE HER' immediately trended on Twitter. The 'FREE HER' movement currently has over 22,000 tweets, with users praising Weems as a vigilante.

Long lost palace of Genghis Khan's grandson may have been found in Turkey
Turkish and Mongolian scientists may have found the remains of a long-lost Khan palace in eastern Turkey that they believe was built by Genghis Khan's grandson, Hulagu Khan. Hulagu Khan was the ruler of the short-lived Ilkhanid state in the 1260s AD. A report in Live Science stated that archaeologists working at the Van Province excavation site near Çaldıran probably found the historically documented Khan palace, which was constructed between 1260-1265. The Turkish Hulagu Khan Palace and the Ilkhanate State Hulagu Khan (reigned 1256-1265) is notoriously associated with the brutal sacking of Baghdad in 1258, which destroyed much of the city and its rich historical heritage. The Khan's wrath on the city resulted in the destruction of the Grand Library of Baghdad, which contained countless manuscripts and books on mathematics, astronomy, physics, philosophy from the Islamic Golden Age (8th century onward). After Baghdad was sacked, the city's leader, Caliph Al-Musta'sim Billah, was...

US officials voice DNA biowarfare fears
A House Intelligence Committee member warns Americans against using DNA testing kits. Biosamples gathered by various DNA testing services could be sold and used to develop bioweapons specifically tailored to target certain groups or even individuals, US lawmakers have claimed at the Aspen Security Forum - echoing concerns long voiced by Russian officials. "There are now weapons under development, and developed, that are designed to target specific people," US Representative Jason Crow (D-Colorado), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, said in Colorado on Friday. "That's what this is, where you can actually take someone's DNA, take their medical profile, and you can target a biological weapon that will kill that person or take them off the battlefield or make them inoperable."

'Fed wants to bring down demand without destroying economy' - strategist
All eyes are on the Federal Reserve ahead of next week's FOMC meeting as record-breaking inflation persists and consumer sentiment hits new lows. Thomas Hayes, managing member and chairman at Great Hill Capital, is expecting the Fed to remain cautious as they try to balance the two issues while still protecting the U.S. economy. "I think you're seeing the Fed trying to walk the tightrope," Hayes said on Yahoo Finance Live (video above). "They wanted to bring down demand, which they've certainly done, but they don't want to destroy the economy." A key example, he said, is how the Fed promised to do $47.5 billion of liquidity withdrawal or tightening in the month of June, but instead wound up buying roughly $3 billion net of treasuries and reduced liquidity by just $7.5 billion in mortgage-backed securities.

Almost all of France is now on drought alert, with restrictions on water usage as the country battles an exceptionally dry summer. Comment: It's exceptional, but it's not unprecedented, there have been others years where similar dry conditions have been recorded. After record breaking heatwaves and forest fires across the country, most of France is now on drought alert. Drought is impacting almost the entirety of the country from east to west. Of the 96 French mainland départements, 86 are currently on some level of drought alert, meaning there are restrictions on water usage in place.
