British FM Liz Truss says a 'Global NATO' needs to arm Taiwan, like Ukraine
The world order created after the Second World War and the Cold War isn't working anymore, so the West needs "a global NATO" to pursue geopolitics anew, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss argued, in a major foreign policy speech on Wednesday. Truss also urged the US-led bloc to send more "heavy weapons, tanks" and airplanes to Ukraine, and said China would face the same treatment as Russia if it doesn't "play by the rules." "My vision is a world where free nations are assertive and in the ascendant. Where freedom and democracy are strengthened through a network of economic and security partnerships," Truss said in a speech at a Mansion House banquet in London. Dubbing this arrangement "the Network of Liberty," Truss argued it was necessary because the economic and security structures developed after 1945 - such as the UN Security Council - "have been bent out of shape so far, they have enabled rather than contained aggression."

Russian and Belarusian players will officially be barred from the grass court Grand Slam Wimbledon organizers will not allow Russian and Belarusian players to appear at this year's tournament because of the conflict in Ukraine, it has been confirmed. The decision was formally announced by the All England Lawn Tennis Club in a statement on Wednesday after widespread reports that a ban was looming for players from the two countries. "Given the profile of The Championships in the United Kingdom and around the world, it is our responsibility to play our part in the widespread efforts of Government, industry, sporting and creative institutions to limit Russia's global influence through the strongest means possible," read a message. "In the circumstances of such unjustified and unprecedented military aggression, it would be unacceptable for the Russian regime to derive any benefits from the involvement of Russian or Belarusian players with The Championships. Rep. Cawthorn says 'establishment' targeting him with 'coordinated drip campaign'
Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) is accusing certain people of targeting him with a "coordinated drip campaign" in an effort to undermine his bid to seek reelection this year. "They're going to drop an attack article every one or two days just to try and kill us with a death by 1,000 cuts, and that is really their main strategy," Cawthorn said in an April 26 statement on Instagram. Cawthorn, 26, has been facing backlash over several controversies, including being detained by police in North Carolina over possessing a loaded gun at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport earlier on April 26.

The real man behind the reset? The man who mentored Klaus Schwab, Pope Francis and others
The roots of the World Economic Forum's "Great Reset" go deep. We consider what may be the tap root, or at least a few of the major influences, that have fed the WEF's obsession with social/cultural revolution led by a self-elected few who understand the true nature of "the fourth industrial revolution". This is repackaged Marxism, a liberation theology that ultimately excludes God and replaces Him with the communist idea of utopia. There's a reason why WEF's proclamation, "You will own nothing and be happy," sounds starkly Marxian... PAULO FREIRE For those interested in Marxism, the name Paulo Freire1 may ring a bell. Born in Brazil in 1921, Freire became interested in various offshoots of Marxism, with a particular focus on theory applied to education. With various writings touching primarily on language and oppression, Freire carved a name for himself amongst likeminded socialist intellectuals. Despite his rather niche writings, Freire would eventually reach new levels of fame...

Antidepressant prescription sales spike in US
A SingleCare Team study revealed the majority of the US population takes some form of a prescription pill. The insurance agency found that the number of people reliant on prescriptions significantly rose after the pandemic. In fact, medications for mental health issues are on the rise. The company reported a 70% increase in prescriptions for the antidepressant Lexapro, a 31% increase in Zoloft, a 21% increase in Trazadone, a 20% increase in Prozac, and a 16% increase in Adderall. The agency noted that the American Psychological Association reported an uptick in individuals self-medicating illegally with opioids as well. Currently, around 66% of adults in the US are reliant on Big Pharma. Canada is in a similar situation, albeit with lower prescription costs, with 65% of their adult population on prescription medicine. In contrast, only 26% of adults in the UK and 35% of adults in Australia are reliant on medications.

The companies that have complied with the bogus requests include Meta Platforms Inc., Apple Inc., Alphabet Inc.'s Google, Snap Inc., Twitter Inc. and Discord Inc., according to three of the people. All of the people requested anonymity to speak frankly about the devious new brand of online crime that involves underage victims. It certainly doesn't take long to find discredited race science, arguments that women are intellectually inferior, antisemitism... Poland has secret plan for Ukraine, Moscow claims
Intelligence obtained by Russia suggests that Poland and the US are working on a plan for Warsaw to regain control of Ukrainian areas that Warsaw considers as "historically belonging" to it, Moscow's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) chief Sergey Naryshkin has said. According to the alleged plan, the first stage of this "reunification" will see Polish "peacekeepers" deployed in western Ukraine under the pretext of "protection from Russian aggression," Naryshkin outlined in a statement on Thursday. The details of the operation are now being discussed between Warsaw and the US government, he claimed, adding that the operation is designed to be executed without a NATO mandate, and only volunteer states taking part. Warsaw has so far been unable to find any other nations to join its cause, he added. But the Polish authorities are unconcerned by this, as they want to minimize the number of "unnecessary witnesses" to their actions. Despite their publicly declared goal of countering...

Russia's Defense Ministry: Kiev forces fired missiles, including ballistic Tochka-U rockets, at the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine
Russia's Defense Ministry claimed on Thursday that Ukrainian forces fired more than a dozen missiles overnight at the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine, which was seized by Russian troops in early March. The ministry said in a statement that Russian air defenses intercepted the rockets. According to Moscow, late on Wednesday the Ukrainian military launched at least two 'Tochka-U' ballistic missiles as well as 12 missiles from a high-powered multiple rocket launcher, apparently targeting residential areas of Kherson. The incoming rockets were, however, shot down by the Russian forces deployed in the city. On Ukraine, the world majority sides with Russia over US
2014 saw two pivotal events that led to the current conflict in Ukraine. The first, familiar to all, was the coup in Ukraine in which a democratically elected government was overthrown at the direction of the United States and with the assistance of neo-Nazi elements which Ukraine has long harbored. Shortly thereafter the first shots in the present war were fired on the Russian-sympathetic Donbass region by the newly installed Ukrainian government. The shelling of the Donbass which claimed 14,000 lives has continued for 8 years, despite attempts at a cease-fire under the Minsk accords which Russia, France and Germany agreed upon but Ukraine backed by the US refused to implement. On February 24, 2022, Russia finally responded to the slaughter in Donbass and the threat of NATO on its doorstep.

Caesarism: The problem, the solution, a fancy dress costume, or a propaganda cartoon?
In imperial history there is nothing new in cases of dementia in rulers attracting homicidal psychopaths to replace them. It's as natural as honey attracts bees. When US President Woodrow Wilson was incapacitated by a stroke on October 19, 1919, he was partially paralysed and blinded, and was no longer able to feed himself, sign his name, or speak normally; he was not demented. While his wife and the Navy officer who was his personal physician concealed his condition, there is no evidence that either Edith Wilson or Admiral Cary Grayson were themselves clinical cases of disability, delusion, or derangement. They were simply liars driven by the ambition to hold on to the power of the president's office and deceive everyone who got in their way.

India has seen 2 months of extreme heat and this week it will only get hotter
Life-threatening heat waves arrived in India a month earlier than normal, shattering temperature records, with highs reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) -- and it will only get hotter. The worst of the heat wave is expected late this week into this weekend with high temperatures approaching 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit (5-8 degrees Celsius) above normal across northern and northwestern India as well as parts of Pakistan. Over one billion people will be subjected to excessive heat -- 10% of the world's population, according to Scott Duncan, an extreme climate expert. This region, including New Delhi, could endure temperatures in the mid to upper 40s Celsius -- which means temperatures over 110 and up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit are possible. And, unfortunately, this heat wont sleep.

Psychopathy and crimes against humanity
Just a week or so after the new edition of Political Ponerology was published in March 2022, I saw this tweet: As something of a nerd, I was quite excited. Especially after I saw that Robert Hare was the lead author. Dr. Hare is the leading expert on psychopathy, developer of the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised, and this was his first foray, to my knowledge, into the explicitly political dimensions of psychopathy, something of an obsession of mine (though his work with Paul Babiak did introduce and popularize the idea of the white-collar, corporate psychopath). You can read the full paper here. I discuss it in depth here (audio), video form below.

Empire of lies eager to receive Mr. Sarmat's business card
Especially since the onset of GWOT (Global War on Terror) at the start of the millennium, no one ever lost money betting against the toxic combo of hubris, arrogance and ignorance serially deployed by the Empire of Chaos and Lies. What passes for "analysis" in the vast intellectual no-fly zone known as US Think Tankland includes wishful thinking babble such as Beijing "believing" that Moscow would play a supporting role in the Chinese century just to see Russia, now, in the geopolitical driver's seat. This is a fitting example not only of outright Russophobic/Sinophobic paranoia about the emergence of peer competitors in Eurasia - the primeval Anglo-American nightmare - but also crass ignorance about the finer points of the complex Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership. As Operation Z methodically hits Phase 2, the Americans - with a vengeance - have also embarked on their symmetrical Phase 2, which de facto translates as an outright escalation towards Totalen Krieg,...

The West has misled the public on Russia's war strategy, and the results are starting to show in Donbass
If you follow the western media's coverage of the war in Ukraine, you'll probably come to one clear conclusion: Things aren't going to plan for Russia. If you're embedded into the world of Twitter, you'll probably even think Moscow is losing. There's enough reason to believe it at face value: An apparent plan to occupy Kyiv and the North of the country seemingly failed, resulting in Russia's withdrawal, whilst Putin's forces appear to have suffered more than expected losses and the Black Sea flagship, the Moskva has been sunk. This is coupled with reporting which repeatedly assumes that Putin aspired for the war to be swift, short and painless, depicting him as miscalculating, mentally deteriorating and falling into an a quagmire of his own making. Except that isn't the case. Whilst it is true indeed that wars never do go according to plan, and always do surmount to unanticipated costs, it is nonetheless also a reality that the western media coverage of the conflict has been...
