Russia summons Israeli ambassador, says Israel using Ukraine to 'distract from Palestine'
The Israeli Ambassador to Russia, Alex Ben Zvi, was summoned by Russia's foreign ministry on 18 April to answer questions about "anti-Russia remarks" made by Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid last week. Following the UN removal of Russia from the human rights council (UNHRC) over its special military operation in Ukraine on 14 April, Israeli Foreign Minister Lapid issued a statement saying: "There is a war in Europe. Again, a large and powerful country invades without any justification for the territory of a smaller and weaker country. Once again, the earth absorbs the blood of the innocent." Lapid then doubled down in his condemnation of Russia, stating "the images and testimonies coming from Ukraine are appalling. The Russian forces committed war crimes against a defenseless civilian population. I strongly condemn these war crimes."

Canada needs to acknowledge its violent history in Korea
In a statement issued on July 27, 2020, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stressed the importance of Canada's contribution to the Korean War, a catastrophic conflict whose outbreak he entirely blamed on North Korea. He described the crossing of the 38th parallel by North Korean forces as "the first open act of aggression since the establishment of the United Nations," and stated that in response, 26,000 Canadian soldiers were deployed to the peninsula "to protect the sovereignty of South Korea." Over 500 Canadians died in the fighting, making it Canada's "third deadliest overseas conflict" after the First and Second World Wars. "The war was devastating for Koreans," Trudeau said, "as people struggled to find safety, and saw their homes, schools, and memories shattered. Families were separated, and many lost loved ones. By the time the armistice was signed in Panmunjom on July 27, 1953, the war had claimed the lives of millions of people, many of whom were civilians." While this...

Kramatorsk train station attack: The key to finding the perpetrator lies in this overlooked detail
In a conflict where accusations of wrongdoing fly back and forth between Russia and Ukraine on a daily basis, when it comes to the missile attack on the Kramatorsk train station that occurred at 10:30am on April 8, 2022, both sides are in rare agreement - the missile used was a Tochka-U, a Soviet-era weapon known in the West by its NATO reporting name as the SS-21 Scarab, and in the former Soviet republics that use the weapon by its GRAU designation, 9K79. Beyond that one technical piece of information, however, any semblance of unanimity regarding the narrative surrounding how that missile came to strike a bustling railway station, killing and wounding dozens of civilians desperately trying to evacuate from eastern Ukraine in anticipation of a large-scale Russian offensive, collapses, with each side blaming the other. Making this tragedy even more bizarre, the Russian words Za Detei - "for the children" - had been hand-painted on the missile in white.

TSA won't enforce mask mandate for travel, following Florida ruling
The administration said Monday evening that it will stop enforcing the federal mask mandate for travel — for now — after a federal judge in Florida earlier in the day struck down the CDC's mask requirement for planes and trains, ruling that the agency overstepped its statutory authority. An administration official said the federal government is still determining how it will respond to the ruling, but that the CDC masking order, which is enforced by the TSA, "is not in effect at this time." United Airlines, which had earlier Monday said it would keep enforcing the mandate until it received more clarity, on Monday evening said it would no longer enforce the mandate for domestic flights. Airlines have been pressing for some time for the mandate to be removed. The change was precipitated by a decision reached Monday by Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, a U.S. District Court judge in the Middle District of Florida and a Donald Trump appointee, who ruled in favor of the Health Freedom Defense...

The global takeover hinges on pandemics and transhumanism
Have you ever watched any of the "Terminator" movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger? If you have, you will be familiar with the evil villain "Skynet," which is a fictional artificial, neural network-based, conscious group-mind and artificial general superintelligence system that decided to terminate all human life in the late 2020s. It has become palpably obvious that the company that most closely resembles Skynet today is Google. You may recall that Google purchased the leading artificial intelligence company Deep Mind a little over eight years ago for the paltry sum of $500 million. This was likely the most important purchase Google made to jumpstart them to Skynet status, with their already massive surveillance capacity corralling data collected from its search engine, which controls 93% of the searches in the world. Its Chrome browser and email client, Gmail, has around 50% use across the internet, and 85% of the world's smartphones are using Android. All these give them nearly...

'Pandemic Treaty' will hand WHO keys to global government
Suggested clauses would incentivize reporting "pandemics", and see nations punished for "non-compliance". The first public hearings on the proposed "Pandemic Treaty" are closed, with the next round due to start in mid-June. We've been trying to keep this issue on our front page, entirely because the mainstream is so keen to ignore it and keep churning out partisan war porn and propaganda. When we - and others - linked to the public submissions page, there was such a response that the WHO's website actually briefly crashed, or they pretended it crashed so people would stop sending them letters. Either way, it's a win. Hopefully one we can replicate in the summer. Until then, the signs are that what scant press coverage there is, mostly across the metaphorical back-pages of the internet, will be focused on making the treaty "strong enough" and ensuring national governments can be "held accountable". An article in the UK's Telegraph from April 12th headlines: Real risk a pandemic...

BEST OF THE WEB: Western 'economic blitzkrieg' has failed - Putin
Western nations have failed in their attempts to destabilize the Russian economy with sanctions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a government meeting on economic issues on Monday. "The situation is stabilizing, the ruble exchange rate has returned to the levels of the first half of February and is supported by a strong balance of payments... Foreign cash is returning to the country's banking system, and the volume of deposits by citizens is growing. As for the consumer market, after a short rush to buy a number of goods... retail demand has returned to normal. Commodity stocks in retail chains are recovering." Overall, he noted that sanctions have failed to break the country's economy: "The goal [of sanctions] was to quickly undermine the financial and economic situation in our country, provoke a panic in the markets, trigger a collapse of the banking system and a large-scale shortage of goods in stores. Airline passengers celebrate end of travel mask mandate
Upon hearing that the TSA will no longer be enforcing travel mask mandates aboard airlines, videos circulated around social media of passengers celebrating. "The agencies are reviewing the decision and assessing potential next steps," a Biden administration official said on Monday. "In the meantime, today's court decision means CDC's public transportation masking order is not in effect at this time." In various videos shared across Twitter, airline captains and flight attendants announced the new rule only to be met with a chorus of applause as some could be heard shouting, "Finally!"

FDA and Pfizer knew covid shot caused immunosuppression
With another batch of 11,000 Pfizer documents, released April 1, 2022, old suspicions have gained fresh support. As reported by "Rising" cohost Kim Iversen (video above), the first bombshell revelation is that natural immunity works, and Pfizer has known it all along. The clinical trial data showed there was no difference in outcomes between those with previous COVID infection and those who got the shot. Neither group experienced severe infection. Natural immunity was also statistically identical to the shot in terms of the risk of infection. Younger Adults More Likely to Experience Side Effects The second revelation is that side effects from the shots were more severe in younger people, aged 18 to 55, than those aged 55 and older. (The risk of side effects also increased with additional doses, so the risk was higher after the second dose than the first.) As many of us have said all along, the risk of severe COVID is dramatically lower in younger people than those over 60, which...

Met Office changed global temperature record to add 14% to recent warming, says climate scientist
Satellite data show that global warming started to run out of steam two decades ago, but the U.K. Met Office's record of surface temperature from 1975 was boosted by 14% at the end of 2020. At the same time, the period between 1880-1975 was cooled. The move accentuates the rise in the global temperature recorded in the 1980s and 1990s that forms the basis of much of the current hysteria about the so-called climate emergency. The disclosure of the apparent warming and cooling is contained in the latest State of the Climate report from Emeritus Professor Ole Humlum of the University of Oslo, and published by the Global Warming Policy Foundation. Professor Humlum says the post-1975 warming is about 0.1°C and the pre-1975 cooling about -0.1°C. The version-change to the fifth HadCRUT Met Office database "conveys the impression of a somewhat more rapid global temperature increase following the relatively cold period terminating around 1975". When the Met Office first announced the...

The report is expected to be published soon. In the meantime, the press secretary is using that to deflect from having to apologize. All those present at Azovstal should exit the facility between 14:00 and 16:00 Moscow time without any arms or ammunition on them, the Defense Ministry directed. "Considering the catastrophic situation at the Azovstal metallurgical plant...the Russian Armed Forces again offer militants of nationalist battalions and foreign mercenaries to stop hostilities and lay down their arms starting 12pm Moscow time on April 19, 2022," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. "All who lay down their weapons are guaranteed the preservation of life," the ministry added. The wording of the statement repeated - almost word for word - a similar offer made to the Ukrainian forces on Sunday, which...

New snow totals for record-breaking Upstate NY storm: One spot got 18 inches (chart)
Well, that was a whopper of a storm, let alone one in late April. The most snow -- 18 inches -- fell in the southern Cortland County town of Virgil. In second place, with 16.3 inches, was another Central New York spot: the village of Erieville, in Madison County. Hilltops and mountains collected the most snow because they stayed colder longer than the valleys, so more of the storm's moisture fell as snow and less as rain. Virgil sits at 1,424 feet above sea level; Erieville is 1,499 feet. Two records were set in Binghamton: The highest snowfall total on April 19, with 11 inches. The old record was 6.9 inches. The total snowfall, which started Monday night, also broke the two-day snowfall record for April.

Drought, snow, freeze further damaging U.S. wheat
An ag economist says his concerns of tight wheat ending stocks are getting worse with more adverse weather in parts of the Western Plains and Western Cornbelt. The University of Missouri's Ben Brown said freezing temperatures early this morning in states like Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska give farmers a reason to worry. "Well, we don't want freeze warnings when the wheat is coming out dormancy...," he said. "This morning would've been something that would've caused some panic." Brown said the freeze might have knocked out some early planted soybeans too.
