The curious butchers of Bucha in Ukraine
First, there was the ghost of Kyiv, a modern red baron hero who single-handedly shot down thirty Russian fighter jets in the first days of the war. Along came an Instagram portrait of a Ukrainian beauty queen with an airsoft rifle and shooters' goggles who made for more fascinating western war propaganda that sent the Ukrainian flag emoji bearers writhing in a digital sharing frenzy. Blurry ariel drone footage from Syria has been used to show glorious Ukrainian battlefield victories for the western masses to feed on. Objects exploding on monochromic thermal vision can be just about anything to any true believer. Even an American battleship on fire was used as a photo prop claiming it was a Russian destroyer attacked by brave Ukrainian freedom fighters on the Black Sea. Actually, it was used twice in the same month, in early and late March. To say the western war propaganda has been sloppy is an understatement. The Mariupol maternity hospital "bombing" was a staged media operation...

Protests over soaring energy prices & inflation spread to UK
Thousands of people have taken to the streets in the UK in protest against the sharp rise in energy prices, as a cabinet minister said the government could not "completely nullify" the increases. Demonstrations took place on Saturday, including one near Downing Street in central London where crowds gathered to hear speeches, including from former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. Other protests took place in cities including Cardiff and Birmingham. They follow a major increase in the energy price cap on Friday, with average household gas and electricity bills rising to £1,971 a year. A further jump in October could take the cost up to £2,600. Groups including the Trades Union Congress and anti-poverty campaigners have voiced alarm at the changes, and said that when combined with increasing inflation and low pay, it could push people into "impossible choices" between heating their homes or eating.

SOTT FOCUS: The truth about Bucha is out there, but perhaps too inconvenient to be discovered
"In war, truth is the first casualty." This quote has been attributed to Aeschylus, a 6th BCE Greek tragedian noted for his "copious use of imagery, mythic allusion, grand language, wordplay and riddles." It is only fitting, therefore, that the man who first gave word to the concept of modern-day war-time propaganda would see his quote come to life in the present-day Ukraine. The Kiev government and their Western information warfare advisers may have coopted all of Aeschylus' playwright devices to craft a modern-day tragedy in the Ukrainian town of Bucha that exemplifies the notion of the lie as not just a byproduct, but also a weapon of war. The main source of the Bucha tragedy reports is a videotape, taken by the Ukrainian National Police, of one of their convoys driving through a street in the town. A dozen or so corpses litter the roadway, many of them appearing to have been bound. This video has gone viral, producing a pandemic of anguish and anger that has swept over much of...

Picking our way through this sticky web of lies
It has been said that we live in a post-truth society, but I'm afraid it's now much worse than that. The post-truth society might be thought of as one where truth is relative, whatever you'd like it to be, rather like choosing from various brands of toothpaste. Such a society is tragic enough, but it is clear to the discerning person that we have now moved on from that. Those days start to look kind of innocent compared to what we are currently experiencing, which is the complete burial of truth under a monstrous pile of deceit and lies, such as the obvious falsehood that people with XY chromosomes can be people with XX chromosomes and vice versa. The last two years has seen a complete bonfire of truth, particularly in the so-called free media, or Globalist Pravda, as I prefer to call it. The lies they have told people during the last two years of all things Covid have been uniquely monstrous, particularly those relating to the new technology, lipid nanoparticle, blood-clotting,...

New witness testimony about Mariupol maternity hospital 'airstrike' follows pattern of Ukrainian deceptions, media malpractice
A key witness to the widely publicized incident at the Mariupol maternity hospital has punctured the official narrative of a Russian airstrike on the facility, and raised serious questions about Western media ethics. Meanwhile, news of a massacre in the city of Bucha contains suspicious elements. On March 9th, shocking news of a deliberate Russian airstrike on a maternity hospital in Mariupol, eastern Ukraine, began spreading widely via social media and news outlets. Fiery condemnation from Western officials, pundits, and journalists was immediate. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, for his part, claimed the act was proof of the "genocide" Russia was perpetrating against the civilian population, and urged European leaders to condemn the "war crime" and "strengthen sanctions" to stop the Kremlin's "evil" deeds in the country. NPR suggested the attack was part of Russia's "terrible wartime tradition" of purposefully targeting health facilities and medics during conflicts, dating...

10,000 health workers sent to help control Shanghai outbreak
China has sent more than 10,000 health workers from around the country to Shanghai, including 2,000 from the military, as it struggles to stamp out a rapidly spreading outbreak in its largest city under its zero-COVID strategy. Shanghai was conducting a mass testing of its 25 million residents Monday as what was announced as a two-phase lockdown entered its second week. Most of eastern Shanghai, which was supposed to re-open last Friday, remained locked down along with the western half of the city. While many factories and financial companies have been allowed to keep operating if they isolate their employees, concern was growing about the potential economic impact of an extended lockdown in China's financial capital, a major shipping and manufacturing center. The highly contagious omicron BA.2 form of the virus is testing China's ability to maintain its zero-COVID approach, which aims to stop outbreaks from spreading by isolating everyone who tests positive, whether they have...

Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson chose leniency even in baby sex torture cases
In the eight child-porn cases that came before her court, former D.C. District Court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson heard horrifying details of "sadomasochistic" torture of young kids — including "infants and toddlers" — yet challenged the disturbing evidence presented by prosecutors and disregarded their prison recommendations to give the lightest possible punishments in each case, according to transcripts of sentencing hearings obtained by the Post. In some cases, she even apologized to some of the kiddie-porn perverts for having to follow the statutes, which she called "substantially flawed." Over and over, the records reveal, Jackson made excuses for the sex fiends' criminal behavior and cut them slack in defiance of investigators and prosecutors — and sometimes even probation officers serving her court — who argued for tougher sentences because the cases were particularly egregious or the defendants weren't remorseful.

SOTT FOCUS: 'Gods of War': How The US Weaponized Ukraine Against Russia
Since the US-engineered 2013-14 coup in Ukraine, American forces have taught Ukrainians, including neo-Nazi units, how to fight in urban and other civilian areas. Weaponizing Ukraine is part of Washington's quest for what the Pentagon calls "full spectrum dominance." "[I]f you can learn all modalities of war, then you can be the god of war," so said a Ukrainian artillery commander in 2016 while receiving training from the US Army. The unnamed commander was quoted by Lt. Claire Vanderberg, a mortar platoon leader training soldiers as part of the Pentagon's Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine. The training has taken place at the absurdly named International Peacekeeping and Security Center, which sits close to the border with Poland near the Ukrainian town of Yavoriv. Western media reported Russia's recent cruise missile attack on the base, but chose not to mention what has taken place inside. The relationship described above is a snapshot of a decades-long US-NATO effort to...

Man responsible for brutal string 1980s rapes ID'd by utility bill, gets over 600-year sentence: 'Evil'
The conviction came after investigators got ahold of a DNA sample on a utility bill. An Indiana man linked to a chain of sexual assault cases more than 30 years ago has been sentenced to 650 years in prison due to DNA tracing on a utility bill. Steven Ray Hessler, 59, was convicted on March 3 after an 8-day trial on 19 felony charges for home invasion sexual assaults between 1982 and 1985. The charges include two counts of rape, six counts of unlawful deviate conduct and three counts of criminal deviate conduct, and one count of robbery against 10 victims total.

Unverified: Shanghai separates COVID-positive children separated from parents in virus fight
Esther Zhao thought she was doing the right thing when she brought her 2-1/2-year-old daughter to a Shanghai hospital with a fever on March 26. Three days later, Zhao was begging health authorities not to separate them after she and the little girl both tested positive for COVID-19, saying her daughter was too young to be taken away to a quarantine centre for children. Doctors then threatened Zhao that her daughter would be left at the hospital, while she was sent to the centre, if she did not agree to transfer the girl to the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center in the city's Jinshan district.

Boston University COVID testing policy violated Americans With Disabilities Act, CHD lawsuit alleges
Children's Health Defense (CHD) and attorney Robert Meltzer of the Mountain States Law Group of Concord, Massachusetts, are suing Boston University for suspending a student who failed to comply with the school's COVID-19 testing protocol. As stated in the complaint filed March 23 in the U.S. District Court in Boston, Boston University suspended Caitlin Corrigan after failing to accommodate her disability, which she considers medically private. The school required a specific testing regimen that provided for no alternative protocols for those unable to comply with the testing method mandated by the University.

Partnering with neo-Nazis in Ukraine: an inconvenient history
Volodymyr Zelensky defeated Petro Poroshenko in the 2019 election on a platform that included making peace with Russia and signing the Minsk Agreements. The Minsk Agreements would have granted a degree of autonomy to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of the Donbas that had voted for independence from Ukraine after the 2014 US backed coup put a government in power that was handpicked by the US and that was pro-West and anti-Russian. It was intense pressure from the far right wing ultranationalists that bent Zelensky from a Minsk backer into the shape of a Minsk rejecter. Under that pressure from neo-Nazi parties that have large power that is disproportionate to their small support, Zelensky abandoned his campaign peace promise and refused to talk to the leaders of the Donbas and implement the Minsk Agreements. Those ultranationalist organizations, including Svoboda Party and the Right Sector, during the 2014 coup, again cast a shadow much larger and darker than their popular support....

Britain blocking UN investigation into Bucha massacre in Ukraine - Russia
RUSSIA blamed Britain today for blocking a meeting of the UN security council to discuss alleged war crimes committed in the Ukrainian town of Bucha. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reiterated the call today after a request for an emergency session was refused on Sunday as reports of mass graves emerged following the withdrawal of Russian troops. "Russia today will again demand the convening of the UN security council in connection with the criminal provocations of the Ukrainian military and radicals in this city," she said.

Dangers of stealth iron overload & the importance of copper: Mercola interviews Morley Robbins
Morley Robbins, MBA, CHC,1 founder of the Magnesium Advocacy Group and best known as the Magnesium Man, has also written a book called "Cu-RE Your Fatigue: The Root Cause and How to Fix It on Your Own." In this book, he goes well beyond magnesium into other nutrients such as copper, iron, vitamins A and D and more, and his Root Cause Protocol2 is the implementation of that information. I'm impressed with the book because Robbins covers every basic cause for disease that I am aware of. Most people who write about health will miss a few, but I believe he really nails all of them.

Protests erupt in Sri Lanka over spiraling economic crisis, shortages, rolling power cuts
Protesters in the Sri Lanka's largest city Colombo held numerous small, peaceful demonstrations over a severe economic crisis on Sunday, defying a nationwide curfew, while police used tear gas to disperse student protesters in the central city of Kandy. A senior police official said officers used tear gas and water cannons to stop a protest of university students in Kandy. "There were about 750 participants but no arrests were made," said Nihal Thalduwa, a police spokesman. Thalduwa said over 600 people who were arrested in the Western Province on Saturday night for breaking curfew orders were released on bail given by police and charges will be filed against them later.

The Fed's stagflation trap will lead to universal basic income and food rationing
This past week during a conference discussing Biden's "Build Back Better" scheme House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was confronted with questions on skyrocketing inflation. After referring to higher gas prices as the "Putin Tax", she went on to offer perhaps the dumbest (or most insidious) denial on the causes of inflation that I have ever heard. She stated: "When we're having this discussion, it's important to dispel some of those who say, well it's the government spending. No, it isn't. The government spending is doing the exact reverse, reducing the national debt. It is not inflationary." Anyone with a basic understanding of economics and how central banks operate must have felt their brains explode when they heard this, I know I did. But before I get into the numerous reasons why this claim is completely false in every way, I want to give a warning - It's very easy in this situation to assume that Pelosi and even Biden are making these arguments because they are too stupid to grasp the...

Christopher Rufo reveals that Disney has a MASSIVE pedophile problem
Following the progressive mob's marching orders, Walt Disney Company has repeatedly opposed Florida's anti-grooming law intended to protect the state's young school-aged children and uphold parental rights in education. It's not a surprise to many supporting the bill that the children's entertainment giant has been a longtime employer of pedophiles and child predators embedded among its staff, according to numerous reports in previous years. Investigative journalist and activist Christopher Rufo, whose reporting has exposed critical race theory teachings in K-12 schools and at the corporate level, highlighted some of "the child-predators of Walt Disney Co." in a series of expository tweets.

France announces mass expulsion of Russian diplomats
Moscow said the move won't go unanswered. France will expel "many" Russian diplomats, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs announced in a statement on Monday. Moscow, according to Russian media, has promised to respond to Paris' decision to expel the personnel. According to the French foreign ministry, "this action is part of a European [sic] approach," and the activities of diplomats targeted by these measures are contrary to France's security interests. According to the BFM TV channel, "about 30 Russian diplomats" will be affected by the decision.

Officials bracing for 18,000 migrants per day if Title 42 is rescinded; Republicans slam Biden Admin for national security threats
House Republicans, led by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), held a press conference on Monday blasting President Joe Biden's handling of the Southern Border and warned that the situation would get worse after Title 42, the public health-related immigration provision that allows expedited deportation for migrants who enter the country, is set to officially end on May 23. Republican members of Congress told reporters Monday evening that the immigration crisis at the border is already a national security issue that is emboldening transnational drug cartels while making "every county a border county." McCarthy also revealed that when he and a group of GOP colleagues previously visited the border, illegal aliens told them they were coming across precisely because of President Joe Biden's words. Many Republicans — including McCarthy — blame the deluge of illegal aliens on Biden directly, in part, for undoing border measures instituted by former President Donald Trump.

Former AG Barr stopped investigations into trailer load of 288,000 ballots into PA from New York in 2020 Election and refused to provide whistleblower protection
Sometimes there are too many uncertainties and obvious red flags for an issue to go unnoticed. This is one of those times. Truck driver Jesse Morgan moved mail for the US Postal Service and came out after the election and shared his story of how he hauled tens of thousands of ballots from New York to Pennsylvania before the 2020 Election. We reported on this in December 2020. We learned in the summer of 2021 that former US Attorney General Bill Barr ordered the US Attorney in Eastern Pennsylvania to stop investigating 2020 Election issues in the state and turn any issues over to the Democrat Pennsylvania Attorney General. This would have included the reports of approximately 288,000 ballots entering Pennsylvania on a semi-trailer from New York. US Attorney William McSwain shared with President Trump, in part:
