With the recent developments in mind, we are just in being optimistic not just because of peace in Gaza but also for the blooming of Christian unity.
We must not forget how incompetent the government in Lebanon was when they had the exact same opportunity and chance to rehabilitate itself away from the AoR's grasp.
The truth is nobody will come to save us. No government will. We only have one another. We only have the Church, and the best thing to do is to help each other and volunteer for our communities for a better future.

Based on the Statement just issued by Hamas, I believe they are ready for a lasting PEACE. Israel must immediately stop the bombing of Gaza, so that we can get the Hostages out safely and quickly! Right now, it’s far too dangerous to do that. We are already in discussions on details to be worked out. This is not about Gaza alone, this is about long sought PEACE in the Middle East.

Faraj al-Shamie, the father of the Manchester terrorist behind the recent attack that killed two Jews, is facing scrutiny over his past social media activity.
A practicing doctor in the UK, al-Shamie had previously expressed open praise for Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, while the massacre was still unfolding.
More alarmingly, just days before his son’s deadly September 27, 2025 attack, he wrote on Facebook: “Bad news for Israel in the next few days, unfortunately no one can prevent what is written.”
Despite this apparent foreknowledge, media coverage has only wrote about his subsequent condemnation of the killings and his plea for privacy for his family.

Some details about the negotiations expected to resume in the coming hours:
1. The Israeli delegation will not go to Qatar due to the clear tension.
Negotiations are set to take place tomorrow in Cairo, Egypt. Steve Witkoff will be attending for the American side, and Ron Dermer,
Minister of Strategic Affairs, for the Israelis.
2. In Israel, work is currently underway on several requirements for the talks, including IDF withdrawal maps that need to be agreed upon.
3. Senior Israeli officials involved in the talks held last night say that Israel did not interpret Hamas's statement as Trump did, and do not see it as consent to the move. According to them, Trump "left Israel no choice" but to treat Hamas's statement as one that allows dialogue.
Today, Israel still views Hamas's response to Trump's plan as negative.
4. Senior officials in Israel said today that this event will be resolved one way or another within days: either the event will be closed and the release of hostages will begin, or there will be a return to intense fighting.
After the IDF halted the operation in Gaza City under the direction of the political echelon, IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee warned the Gaza residents in Arabic against returning to the northern Gaza Strip (attached): "IDF forces are still surrounding Gaza City, and returning there is very dangerous. Avoid returning north or approaching IDF operational areas anywhere."
