The far-left will import Europe’s methods of suppressing free speech to the USA
Michael Shellenberger describes how political figures and media outlets in the USA use labels like “far right” and “fascist” to dehumanise opponents and justify censorship.
A similar “playbook” is currently being tested in Europe, where governments have used legal actions, home raids and ballot exclusions to suppress political dissent and speech.

On September 11, 2001, 2,977 victims were killed in the attacks. Twenty five years later, far more have died with illnesses attributed to or associated with World Trade Center exposure to the dust, gases, and chemicals at Ground Zero. That death toll has far exceeded the original death toll. Recent reporting in 2026 cites estimates of roughly 9,400–9,700 subsequent deaths from 9/11-related illnesses.
The evidence is particularly clear within the FDNY, where attribution is much more closely tracked. 343 FDNY members died on 9/11 itself. By September 2025, FDNY reported that more than 400 additional members had died from World Trade Center-related illnesses. The exposures were substantial. More than 15,000 FDNY personnel were exposed toxins during rescue and recovery operations according to FDNY's 25-year health report.

Jules Naudet’s Raw 9/11 Footage (Best Source Merge) Jules Naudet took this video on September 11, 2001 at 8:46 a.m. when the first hijacked plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
In summer 2001, brothers Gedeon and Jules Naudet were creating a documentary film about FDNY Ladder Company 1, which shares its quarters in Lower Manhattan with Engine Company 7 and Battalion 1.
On Tuesday September11, 2001. Jules was shadowing Battalion Chief Joseph Pfeifer and other firefighters on a routine call near the World Trade Center while Gedeon remained in the firehouse. After hearing a loud noise - the sound of Flight 11 roaring toward the North Tower - Jules captured what became rare footage of the aircraft hitting the building. He began filming people on the street as they stared at the fire in shock and horror.
Concerned about his brother, Gedeon hitched a ride to the World Trade Center. He was inside the North Tower when the South Tower collapsed, subsequently taking refuge inside a nearby fire truck.
When he ventured outside, Gedeon used the light on his camera to navigate through the thick dust. He assisted an injured man and then made his way back to the firehouse to await news of his brother, fearing that Jules had died. But two and a half hours later, the brothers were reunited.
Jules and Gedeon Naudet donated the video camera used on that day to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, and Jules’ camera is in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Their footage became part of a documentary titled “9/11,” which aired on CBS in 2002.

Birmingham city council is planning to remove British and St George's flags from lampposts 'to protect public safety'.
The council – run by a coalition of the Liberal Democrats, the Greens and independents – launched legal action to ban the flags yesterday.
If granted an injunction, anyone who erects flags such as the Union Jack near roads without Birmingham Council's permission could face an unlimited fine or up to two years in prison.
It follows a nationwide debate over whether British and St George's flags should be allowed, with some viewing them as a sign of patriotism while others deem them a display of nationalism aimed at intimidating ethnic minorities.

David was discharged from the hospital yesterday evening and is back at home. Praise God for His goodness and thank you all for interceding for us so faithfully.
David doesn’t expect to be active on social media for a while, but he appreciates all the encouraging comments you all have made. He’s extremely tired, which is expected until his heart has time to heal.
He has a follow up appointment with the cardiologist in two weeks and we should know more then about whether he will need another surgery and what rehab will look like.
David is extremely thankful for his family, friends, and for your prayers. I asked him if there was anything else he wanted you to know.
He said, “Jesus is real and I hope everyone comes to know Him.”

Barry Jennings died shortly after he gave his witness evidence of the collapse of Building 7 at the World Trade Centre on 9/11. His death has never been explained and investigators paid to discover the truth returned their fees and refused to investigate further.
